We hired this contractor to help us with a water damage insurance claim. Among many things that were done wrong we have peeling paint weeks after the job was completed because the walls and ceilings were not prepped appropriately. There are also huge gaps in the drywall (between the wall and floor) behind the cabinets allowing mice to enter the unit which is a problem for all 3 floors. His completed job was sloppy and despite this contractor saying he guarantees his work, he has ignored our efforts to communicate after receiving his final payment.There is a complete lack of trust due to the previous history working on our home. Due to that we are seeking a refund to have the painting redone by a reputable and trustworthy business.The space behind the cabinets also need to be addressed, per the exterminator, or the rodent problem will not go away. Sirlei told us he was a general contractor and would make sure we are happy with the work. We are so frustrated with how he left things and are still dealing with problems due to his lack of caring. We have never had an issue with mice before. Its unsanitary and unacceptable. All 3 floors are occupied and there are children living on all 3 floors.Customer response
