I have been trying to cancel for MONTHS. The last time I attempted to file a BBB complaint, I was told my membership had been moved from Leominster to Gardner and I needed to file the complaint with Gardner, but I could not find them in the BBB anytime I searched. I have lost hundreds of dollars in fees, had my account go far into the negative SEVERAL times per month, and requested my account be closed too many times to count. I demand my account be closed, it is either under my deadname, *****************************, or my new name, *************************. I also demand a refund of all the months I've been charged and fees for going negative so many times. I have seen them try to charge me 4 times in 1 month, resulting in over a hundred dollars lost in fees. And they still charged me again the next month! This is unacceptable. I have been trying to cancel since at least July of last year. I will accept a settlement of $200, despite the fact that this has cost me far more.Business response

************************* has been a member with our Gardner location since September 2021 after transferring from Leominster PF location.. Since then, at least 15 monthly dues were not successful as ****** had insufficient funds in their bank account. When we do not have a successful draft from their account, that month is still owed to us. Planet Fitness Policy is that if a member attempts to cancel their membership, their account must be in good standing with their payments, must cancel in person at their home club or by sending a letter in the mail. The most recent check in from ****** is from November 22, 2022. At this point, ****** had several past due payments which still have not been paid. If the balance had been paid, the membership would have been canceled. A refund will not be issued at this time. Thank you.
