On 8/22/22 I brought my van in for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. As soon as I picked it up I noticed a really strong oil smell in the cab. I actually drive a company vehicle most the week, so I wasnt happy that they mustve got some oil on my seats but figured it would dissipate by the end of my work week. End of the week I get back into my van, the smell is gone. Then I turn on the ** and it smells like oil again. I also notice the engine is revving extremely high. So I pop the hood open. They never put the cap back on. Oil is literally spraying EVERYWHERE, into the vents, on the engine, down into the brakes, somehow inside the crevices of the hood itself. So I call up and actually get the guy who changed the oil. First he asks me to drive it to the shop Im 1 turn and 1 mile away in Hanover, but even I know not to drive a rolling fire hazard. So he comes at 4:45pm. He literally does nothing, its pouring rain out, who knows how much debris or water has gotten into the engine or will get in and says theres nothing I can do tonight. Meanwhile Advance Auto is open till 9pm and I called them, they had an oil cap. So he apologizes and says h*** come back in the morning with a cap after he finds out the price. He said this multiple times, the price of the oil cap. Its 7 dollars and I dont care if its a $1,000 dollars, it keeps oil from spraying my entire engine bay and its a critical component. Its been 5 days. Never came back, no oil cap, no oil, no pressure wash of the engine. Nothing. Said he would call, didnt. Do you like companies that stand by their work? Dont use these crooks. Today I filed a small claims against them. They are absolute scumbag thieves who could care less if they almost seize your engine, possibly burn your car to the ground, stain it with a oil smell that will never come out.
