I purchased a new vehicle from McGee Toyota on 6/27/22. I was told by my salesman ***************************** that they were going to give me $27,100.00 as a trade in for my 2021 Jeep. That would pay off my existing car loan of $27,100.00. They initially offered me $23,000 as a trade in and I refused their offer. The ***** Blue Book Value for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler was roughly around $29,000 to $30,000. I paid an additional $5,000.00 down thinking it was going towards the purchase of the new truck. I found out today when I received my loan paperwork from Toyota that my $5,000.00 deposit went towards paying off the remaining balance of my existing Jeep loan and that I was only given $23,000.00 as a trade ** for my Jeep not the $27,100.00, I was told. When I went to McGee today to speak to them about the discrepancy of the trade in amount on the Jeep they basically said too bad you electronically signed the papers what do you want us to do about it. I explained that I thought I had signed for the trade in offer of $27,100.00, not the trade in of $23,000.00. Who in their right mind would agree to take less for a trade in than what you owed on your loan. At the time when I was purchasing the new truck they told me that my Jeep needed new tires, brakes and that they had to fix the dent on my front bumper and that is why they were only giving me a trade in of $27,100.00. The funny thing is they have my Jeep that I traded in on their website listed for $36,999.00 and they havent replaced anything. It still has the dented bumper, same tires and same brakes. I feel as though they took advantage of me. I should have been given the $27,100.00 for my trade in as they had said. Not the $23,000.00 they gave me. I realize I signed the paperwork electronically but I did not realize they only gave me the $23,000.00 until I received my loan information from Toyota financing today. I feel as though they owe me the difference of $4,100.00. Thank you for your time! ***********************

Terms of the sale including final figures, payments  and payoff information were disclosed at time of sale and again at signing in the finance office.  The sale was fair and transparent.  The posted price for the trade is separate and was established after the new truck was purchased.

I no longer have a car that I purchased at this dealership. However they will not stop contacting me by phone and mail. They have contacted my parents phone number because I blocked them from calling my cell phone. They will not leave me alone and are refusing to take my name off their contact list.
