If this is inappropriate for this forum, please feel free to delete.I hired Smart Uses LLC (*************************, proprietor) to replace the gutters and install gutter guards on my home in ********* MA via **** (formerly ************** And Im kicking myself for it.All was going along very well until it got to be late in the day and they were wanting to call it a day. ****** asked me for money for the work that they had done for the day. For the record, I do not pay for anything until the job is done to my satisfaction. Needless to say, they got moving and finished the job up before they left. And in all honesty, I thought the job had been completed well. Boy was I wrong!During the first rainstorm we had several days after the installation, I found a piece of the gutter guard in the yard. I let them know, and the came and replaced it. A couple of weeks later, upon examination for something else entirely, it was noticed that screws had been removed from an awning that had absolutely nothing to do with the gutters. During a conversation with ******, it was mentioned that wed had some concerns about the guards and the way they were not seating properly on the gutters. ****** said that he was aware that the clip on guards were problematic, and he would be out to replace them with the s**** on replacements and he wanted to make thing right. On the appointed day, he texted saying that because of the weather they were going to reschedule for 8/23 at 9:00 AM. Were still waiting. He has been given 3 choices: 1) come and finish what you started correctly, 2) reimburse the cost of the gutter guards via cashiers check, or 3) be summoned to small claims court.This has been ongoing for over a month! Do yourself a favor and dont bother even talking to them!
