When we called to schedule him to power wash and paint a small amount of our house he came in a lift truck to show us how easy it was. When he came on 9/16/2022 to do the work it had no lift truck and only had ladders and a young girl (relative?) to help him. He said he was waiting for a part to fix his truck. They neglected cleaning 3 gutters and painting some trim on the front porch. He said he would come back and power wash areas that had old bee nests and lady bug excrement on the house - gratis. I just spoke to him and he said he only had that truck for a few months and always did work by ladders - he never said that to me or my husband. It's a lie. I have an MBA and quite a good memory. I 'd never pay someone to do that for $3200. I had a vendor in *********** who power washed our house for $400. I certainly would have chosen him and found a less expensive painter. I'd like a list of all of his power wash & paint customers to interview to see what manner he used to do the job.

I finished this job last year and received the final payment. It has been over a year since this job was completed.  When I finished the job last year, the final day I was there she had my worker and I vacuuming ladybugs off her porch for almost 3 hours before we could do any painting. She should have hired an exterminator first to remove them. They probably returned this year and left a mess all over her porch and now she is looking for a free pressure wash and paint job. Regarding the boom truck, when I showed up for the estimate I mentioned I would use it to try to remove some hornet/bees nests that were high up in the peaks, I did not promise it would do the job, just that I would try. I am not an exterminator, and it was not a condition for whether or not she hired me. For her to claim it is "a lie" that I said I always worked off of ladders is slanderous and very easy to prove otherwise. I have the paperwork for when I bought the truck to prove that I had only recently acquired it, and yet I have had this business for 30 years! If me doing the job was conditional on me using the boom truck, then the day I showed up without it she should have stopped me and told me not to work unless I had it. I have pressure washed and painted for 30 years off of ladders and never had any issue getting the job done to my customer's satisfaction. The boom truck had an issue with the transmission and needed to be fixed so I was unable to use it for the job. It was not going to be ready in time for me to finish her job before the weather no longer allowed it. Again, I never had a boom truck before and always pressure washed and painted without it using ladders.

I gave her a very reasonable price and even added in a few things that I did not charge her for. The pressure wash was no more than $600 the rest was all for painting. She added in a deck as well that a previous painter had done a very poor job with. Her house is huge and if she thought the price was unreasonable, she should not have hired me.

I have had an A+ rating with the BBB for years and have never had any customers file a complaint or take me to court for anything. I did not agree to come back and redo any pressure washing or painting, that is a lie. I will not return there ever again even if she offered to pay me.
