On September 10,2021, I hired Daniel to remove wallpaper from 5 areas, as well as popcorn ceilings from 5 areas. He informed me he didn't have a drivers license because of a DUI. My husband asked him if getting to our house was going to be an issue, he said no because because he rides with his crew. I asked if he was licensed, and insured he said yes. I asked to see those and he presented me with what he said was his license and insurance. Those documents had nothing to do with with his license or insurance. I should have investigated before hand, my mistake. On Oct 18,2021, I had him escorted off my property by the police. The job was supposed to take a week to ten day to complete. On October 18th was the start of the 5th week. In that time he made it to my house 11 times. He never had a crew to speak of. On one occasion he had a women accompany him 2 times, on another an man for 2 days. I drew up a contract as he would not. The agreed charge was $6317.50. half down at the start, the other upon completion. He constantly was asking me for more money for one reason or another. Half down was $3158.75, at week 4 I had paid him $4800.00. He destroyed my house, with paint, compound, over my floors, baseboards and carpet.. He took a rotary sander to my woodwork trying to remove paint, and compound, destroying my woodwork. He was all over the place never completing a task. On October 18th he wanted to start in the bathroom, while the other areas weren't even close to being finished. At that point I asked him to finish what he had started and he became very confrontational. I told him it wasn't open for discussion. He angrily said he will do it his way. I asked him to respect my wishes. He said I wasn't his boss and he would do it his way. I explained I was his boss, as I'm the one paying him, and it was my house, I then called the police. I have since had to hire another painter costing me another $4800. I need to know what my resources are.

Some time in August I was requested to do a wallpaper removal upon visit the customer she pitched in to have the popcorn ceiling remove as well, after giving her my price which was well under bid she rejected the price, two weeks later the same request came back in begging to return and explain the project to her husband in which I did. They also request all forms of license proof. They went along to request to not pay the full down payment/deposit. From the beginning of the project, she sat in the kitchen along with moving around the work areas, making it uncomfortable and hard to work. The project was supposed to be 10 days in which she made the schedule/availabilities spreading it in almost two months and top of wanting to take charge how to do the project and when she couldn't control how the work should get down she got mad and her son who was always in his room came out angry wanting to know if he should attack and call the cops said I was angry so in I went outside and said ill wait until the cops arrive which she fired me regardless I told her I was still willing to help her, she was too mad, and the cops told me to take my stuff, and it's her lost. By the time we reach the 10th day the money went to drivers 250 a day which wasn't worth it for me anyway. Not to mention trying to sabotage my character in which the cops told her made no sense, and she cannot control how I do the work as long as I get it done in a timely and clean, which we did every day after work. We have pictures and videos and the contract
