Called ******************************** regarding refrigerator mechanics not making ice. Al was initially very prompt and communicative, and came same day to assess the issue with appliance. After diagnosing the issue and part needing to be replaced, he supposedly called his supplier and ordered the necessary part. He asked for payment of $388 to pay for the part and promised installation the following monday when part arrived. Check was cashed the following day. ** followed up as promised and arrived Monday with the wrong part he realized after arriving. He then supposedly called supplier again and said he could get the right part the following morning and would come back tomorrow to install correct part. Al never showed and no response despite multiple calls voicemails and texts sent. I was suspicious and ****** him ************************* and saw his prior reports to BBB for similar behavior.Customer response

I did hear the flowing day from ********************* from HP appliance. He did show up and supposedly replaced the part with the correct one. However, its been almost a week and my ice maker that Al fixed, still does joy make ice.Initial Complaint

I called this business and they came out last Wednesday to look at my broken washing machine. He showed up as promised and identified the problem. He ordered the parts while he was here and charged us $440 for parts and labor. He made an appointment to come back in 2 days (this past Friday). When he didn't show up, I called and texted him multiple times and have not gotten an answer. I am moving on this quickly because I read his Yelp reviews after the fact and a number of people have reported the same thing happening to them.Customer response

****, the business owner, reached out to me 4 days after he was supposed to show up and tried to schedule a date to come finish the work. I had already reached out to him multiple times by text and phone and had heard nothing, so I had scheduled someone else to do the work. I asked him for a refund, since we had paid for parts and labor at his first visit.
He claimed he did not have a phone because of something the phone company had done and so had been unable to get in touch sooner. He did not say anything about why he didn't show up in the first place. When I asked him why he had not been able to find another phone to notify me about the cancellation, he went into a long story about the phone company s******* up his phone and repeatedly claimed none of this was his fault.
I asked again for a refund and he stopped responding.
I have filed a dispute with my credit card company in hopes of getting my $440 back.
