I am disappointed with the work of Parsons Paving Inc. The workers patched our Driveway on March 23 (I thought it happened in June, but I found it was in March when I checked their invoice. ) We paid $3000 for patching. They said they would do a Tennis court painting for our Driveway later when the weather gets warm (after 65 degrees). They also said that we were going to love it. The painting is another $3000. They asked my husband to pay $1000 as a deposit. In May, my husband contacted their contact person Vanshn Parsons; he said the patches still needed time to settle down, and the weather was too hot. My husband contacted ****** Parsons again in July. He said that they would come in August. However, they didn't come. In Sept., he didn't respond to my husband's calls and text messages. My husband told him if they could not do it, give us back the $1000 deposit. I called him on September 27; he answered the phone. I told him the weather was getting cold, but the three days of the following week had good weather; I hoped they could finalize their job before it turned too cold. He said he would call my husband to schedule an appointment. He talked to my husband about the materials for the Tennis court painting being up, and he seemed not to want to do it. He said a regular seal would be $1500. My husband agreed to do a regular seal. They finally came on October 8 (almost half a year after their patching) to finalize their job, but the patches on the Driveway still seem ugly. It's like a cloth with several rough patches. I wish they could have told us from the beginning the Driveway would stay this way forever after they patched it. We could decide whether we should do it. Attached are the receipts of our payments and the photos of our Driveway. The photo 1 was taken from a window of our upstairs room.Customer response

I have filed a complaint against Parsons Paving Inc, and my complaint number is #********. Thanks for forwarding my complaint to them. In my complaint file, I asked them to repair the driveway. However, the weather gets cold, and I don't think they can do it now. I want to propose another solution: ask for a $500 refund. I checked the info about driveway sealing costs online. https://www.bobvila.com/articles/driveway-sealing-cost/
Typical Range: $250 to $768
National Average: $486
About their labor work, they just run the machine to seal our driveway for about 10 minutes to finish their job. We paid $1500 for the poor job. I think asking for a $500 refund if they don't want to repair it (they still get $1000) is reasonable for them. We will use the $500 refund as part of the money to ask someone else to fix the driveway.Customer response
