My Bobcat Construction Horror Story 7/5/2022 I wrote a $4,257.50 check to Bobcat Construction for supplies, parts, and to paint kitchen cabinets, install new light fixtures and the microwave (that we had purchased) and create a duct to vent it outside, after counters were installed by different contractor. They actually showed up to inspect the work site (our home) after 10 PM!7/15 I wrote a $1,300.00 check to Bobcat Construction to actually begin the work, again much later than start time that HE had requested.7/18/2022 I wrote a $4,332.50 personal check to owner ************************* in anticipation of completion of the scope of work agreed to, when he begged for help, claiming his sister in the ****************** was extremely sick and needed his help. He promised to return and finish the work as soon as he returned to the US. We never heard from him again! After a year we finally hired a legitimate contractor to complete his unfinished and shoddy work. We even discovered that the duct he claimed carried the microwave exhaust across the attic crawlspace to vent outside just terminated in our attic - an outright lie!Adding insult to injury, every time they did show up (sometimes sitting in the truck for hours outside our home) owner *********************** urged me to give them a positive review. I've been so stunned by their "performance" that it's taken over a year to be able to write this.
