    I was aware of this appointment on january 24th 2024. I called there office in ********************* and was transferred to there answering service and i left a message more than 24 hours before the appointment date and time. EVERYTIME i call this office i am never transferred to ******************************* office. i left a phone message with my name d.o.b. and explained i would not be available due to another doctors appointment. I explained this clearly to them. I am am not paying this ***** charge due to there of returning messages. This is one of the reasons i am no longer with them. they need to better on there central answering processes.

    I was referred to New England Neurology Associates in ******** by ***************************** - my primary care physician (Nurse Practitioner) at the ****** of ******* ************ of ******* Health for cognitive impairment symptoms and it was the worst experience with those two ******s I've ever had within the healthcare system.New England Neurology stated they needed a referral ( Two Mass Health representatives told me I did not need a referral to see specialists but my hands were tied as N.E Associates insisted I did) so I tried to have MPCare send one over before my appt that was for the next day. I scheduled my Neurology appt with N.E Associates way back on Dec 7th. but they waited to call me about a referral problem until Dec 21st around 2pm to tell me they never got the referral for my appointment being the next day leaving no time for me to try and correct the issue, further stating they are cancelling and rescheduling my appt to Jan 10th. I spoke with **** I believe. I begged her not to cancel me and said I'd call MPCare to see if I could get them to send referral over ASAP and also told **** I knew they closed at 4:30pm and please hold the appointment and I would call back. N.E Associates stated they have been trying to call MPCare for the referral but 'they dont answer their phones and I'd have to argue with them' to which I stated 'I dont want to argue with anyone. I just want to see the neurologist.' My primary care ****** stated they sent it - New England Neurology said they sent it under the facility not the MD which turned out to be an NP so I called Mass Health with the *** # to be sure that the Nurse Practitioner I was seeing was indeed within network and Masshealth said No she wasn't in network and gave me names from NEAssociates who are in network I could schedule with so off I call back NEAssociates and explain I'd like to reschedule with a different Neurologist MD as the one Im scheduled with *** not be in network per Masshealth so to be on the safe side and have no more referral issues, schedule me with one of them but she refused (Didnt get her name but was told she's the only one who schedules appointments so it's probably still ****) she said that wasn't the issue and my doctor's ****** needs to send the right referral over to them under the nurse practitioners name. I stated you're probably right but I cant handle this anymore please just humor me just in case this is the issue as Masshealth said it could be, but she just kept saying over and over again thats not the issue and talking over me stating Id have to wait months for an appointment with someone else to which I said I dont care at this point I cant be seen anyway because of all the problems - I didnt say this next part but it certainly details the problem - these 2 ******s are at war with one another with NEAssociates disparaging MPCare every conversation I had with them and even if true, what makes them think a potential pt trying to see neurology wants to hear the high school remarks of 'that place is going downhill' by a neurologists ******. I've never dealt with this before Im so shocked. It's been a nightmare. Because of this, I changed my entire healthcare plan and PCP. I'll end up waiting months anyway but I can handle that instead of ineffective staff telling me to argue with my PCP's ******.Just a complete nightmare. I felt so helpless. Although my PCP ****** - MPCare doesn't answer the phones until 15 - 20 minutes of ringing, I did find them very compassionate and helpful. I just don't think they are a good fit for my care. Very saddened and helpless by all of this. Tried to be as nice and patient as I could realizing healthcare workers - I was one of them over 25 years) - are def underpaid, overworked, and understaffed these days but I got the distinct feeling by speaking with **** this was more about her hatred for ******* ************ ****** and her need to be right overshadowed any help or compassion for me that *** have made the situation manageable even if the problem could not have been resolved.
