On or around March 25, 2021 I delivered my **** corvette convertible to Brians auto and Transmission on ************ ********** ,***** agreed to replace the clutch,and repair as needed the 5 speed manual transmission .The first week of April 2021 ***** removed the clutch and transmission place those parts described on to his work bench ,backed the vehical out in to his parking lot .Every 7- 10 days I Visite to discuss progress on the replacement and repairs of the parts described , and with every Visite no progress is made the transmission is dismantled laying on his work bench with very little to none progress . Brians weekly Visite response if ,I will get to it I promise ,I did not know its been this long ,My girl friend has been ill. Help is hard to get . I have been very busy .Ill get the car fixed .I have owned this car for 10 years , I never park it outside at night or in any weather, I pay and continue to pay for storage not knowing the duration of hostage my car was going to be held .The paint is peeling , the newer whit top is **** in color , and the sewer tire s are flatting , and I am sure will run rough.***** has had my car for an unacceptable amount of time which I believe to be 16 Months 1 year and 4 months is too long for a common clutch replacement .I am requesting you contact Brians Auto , so the repair shop concentrate on repairs so I can bring this auto back home please.Business response

Customer supplied wrong part part was returned to Customer was waiting for correct part the customer never got part. Have talked to customer he has stated he will be getting the parts

I am rejecting this response because:
I tried to respond earlier.The pic is of the broken piece ***** tried to repair , I am trying to work with ***** to help replace the piece he broke .
this is not the reason for the delay in repairing my car , he showed no interest in repairing until I complained to the BBB.
The delay in delivering my car is causing the car to deteriorate past the value of repairing.

BBB spoke with the business owner directly. He advised that the consumer just brought him the parts he needed yesterday or the day before and he has what he needs now, so the car should be done shortly.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The parts delivery date was Monday,July 25th, 2022 @ 930am , not August 3rd or 4th of August.we still have not discussed pricing for repairs , including the deteriorating condition of the vehicle caused by being parked in the harsh *********** weather for 17 months .
