Hello my name is ******* *********************** & the nature of my dispute is ive been trying to get my hospital bills reduced. I was in a car accident which i wasn't at fault in i have no insurance & cant afford to pay this outrageous $30,000 hospital bill for a 2-3 hour emergency room visit. Me and my legal team have requested the uninsured rate for my outpatient visit. Attached below is the original itemized statement from **************** as well as the hospital break down charges done by my legal team. Pro medical llc has acquired the debt & has not been responsive to any of our request & inquiries. I would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible & put this situation behind me.

ProMedical is a national healthcare revenue cycle management company that handles the billing of auto accident claims. ProMedical does not acquire debt nor have we been unresponsive . **************** is represented by an attorneys office that has requested a reduction of his outstanding medical bill. ProMedical does not have the authority to accept this reduction without the consent of the facility (our client). This reduction request is currently pending with the management team of the facility. On February 28, 2024, the attorneys office sent an email to the ProMedical claim representative requesting an update. The claim representative responded to the attorney on February 28th and informed the attorney that this was still pending with our client. To date there has been no other requests or communications from **************** attorneys office. The reduction request is still pending with our client and ProMedical requests an update on this reduction on a weekly basis. ****************** attorney will be notified as soon as the client has made a decision.

      FAQ

my current issue is that i am trying to go over the pricing transparency of my hospital bill & today when i contacted **************** they tell me they cant assist me & that i must speak to pro medical & when my legal team contacted pro medical they tell us we have to contact the hospital. but here pro medical is saying the power is in the hands of their (client). From my knowledge it appears to me that whoever is at pro medical handling my account is gatekeeping & purposely prolonging this process. I am uninsured asking for the self pay uninsured rate for services rendered not just the current reduction which has been processing since feb 28th 2024 today is April 1st 2024. I am being represented by attorneys but i have personally contacted pro medical multiple times & personally have not been responded to by whoever is in charge of my billing. Like i stated originally i would appreciate more transparency & cooperation on getting this settled as soon as possible. ******* from pro medical has continuously stated to my attorneys that she would speak to her supervisors or upper management with no avail. Im asking for a direct line to whoever is in charge of my account to reach out to my personal number or email within the next 24 hours. My information should be updated with the hospital & on file.

      Regards,

      *******

On May 14th, 2023, I received a bill dated 5/10/23 from a collection agency whom I have no association with asking me personal questions about medical treatment that is in dispute with the Medical facility of *************** ****************** in ******, **. This bill is and should be put into dispute the services rendered are exaggerated to say the least. This is a violation of both Federal and State Law and I have no dealings with this collection agency therefore I will be answering none of its questions about a personal matter (medical). File number is stated to be ******* and balance of $3,436.05 in dispute wrong services not all rendered exaggerated billing.

We have reviewed this complaint. ProMedical, LLC is not a collection agency. We reached out once by mail and once with a phone call to obtain the correct insurance information for processing the medical bills on behalf of the Medical Facility. Since the individual is not willing to cooperate with our company, the bill in question will be returned to the medical facility and they will further process it directly with the individual.

An *** was issued from ******** back in April 2023. ******** denied their claim multiple times after over charging ******** and continuing to bill them after every denial. This has been going on nearly 2 years. I spoke to ******** who told me it was fraud and gave me contacts.******** notified both my attorney and myself in November 2022 that I owed nothing and the claim was denied. Yet, they still billed ******** excessive amounts passed the allowable limits. So, my *** was issued stating I owed nothing and was entitled to **** from an auto claim. Then comes ******************************* who sends a letter to my attorney after the *** stating I owed **** when I didnt. A check was submitted from my attorney who told me to send them the letter of *** and I am entitled to my ****. I spoke to ******************************* on Monday 8th 2023. She stated they were aware of it and to get back to her in a few days. I did just that through email and phone. She blatantly refuses to refund my money. Yet, her name is all over the demand for payment. They have been playing games with me. I am owed **** and want it over nighted to me by Saturday 13. 2023. I believe this to be fair since they delayed this claim for 2 years. This is a deliberate act of fraud. Demanding money when not owed it and refusing to return it is blatant fraud.
