    On Sunday, March 10, 2024, around 8:30 am, I went into Great Cuts for a haircut. The individual that cut my hair was ********. She cut my hair before and was the only person available. I told her and showed her what I wanted. I wanted it evened out in the back and a little trim on the rest. She cut off a lot of my hair. My hair is fine/thin and now I have to really work at covering the sparse areas. The hairstyle is now boyish (I'm 68 years old), sometimes spikey, and so short that I can't even get it around a small blow dry brush. And, she additionally changed the style which I did not ask for. I didn't say anything because I figured I would go home, wash it, and restyle it the way it was. I couldn't. I am embarrassed by the hairstyle.I called Great Cuts Headquarters (didn't want to call the salon and get into a possible dispute) 2 days later and explained what happened. They said they would forward my issue to the owner. No response from the owner. I called Great Cuts Headquarters again. No response from the owner. I called Great Cuts a third time and eventually someone else from another salon called me back. The owner did not call me. They offered me 2 free haircuts. I said I wanted my money back, and possibly a free haircut (I would go to another clerk). I suggested giving me a credit against my credit card, or send a check. The individual stated that they don't have the capability to do that, and that she would have to speak with the owner. I asked again to have the owner call me, so I don't have to go back and forth between other individuals.The owner called me back eventually on Friday, March  15 and stated he would be sending me out a check and a gift card (for a haircut) on that day. He asked me to text him my address which I did. I have not received the check. On Thursday, March 21, I texted the owner asking when the check was sent out as I didn't receive the check. No response. On Friday, March 22, I left him a voice message. No response. I then called Great Cuts Headquarters and told them of the additional information. They stated they would send an email to the corporate members and the owner. I also told Great Cut Headquarters that I would eventually have to contact bbb. No response. On Saturday, March 23, I expected the check would come with the mail. No check. I again called Great Cuts Headquarters to tell them that I didn't receive the check. They again sent the owner at corporate members about the situation and to have the owner contact me.Later that morning, I received a call from another clerk from Great Cuts stating that the check had not been mailed because the owner did not have my address. But I had already texted him my address. Additionally, if he did not have my address why didn't he contact me for it after my text message of March 21, or after my voice message of March 22. I told this additional clerk that I'd like to speak with the owner as stipulated by the Great Cut Headquarters. I'm not sure why I am not getting my check and why I have to go through all this.
