I purchased a used Range Rover in full from the Maxi Auto dealership in *********, ** 4-5 months ago. The dealership has not provided a title, registration, or license plates. The car is currently sitting in my driveway with dealer plates and cannot be legally driven. I paid for this car in full and the dealership tells me weekly they will provide these documents the next day and its now been 4-5 months. The state of MA requires a title to be provided within 15 days of purchase.Business response

I bought a car in August 2023 it didn't pass inspection I took it back to get it fixed to the dealership came back the next day to it being inspected it's now December and we had a diagnostic check on the car found out the car still had the same issue wrong with it they are scammers and bringing cars to be inspected to there own ppl without fixing themInitial Complaint

4/17/2022 I went looking for a car I found one at Maxi Auto and I got approved for a loan. I put 2,000 dollars down but they put on the application that I put 5,000 dollars. So I wait 5 days before I even drive the car then I finally drive it and there’s smoke coming from the engine. I called them and told them about it. And I drop the car off and they fix it. Two days later I pick the car up and I drive to work same problem and this is the engine is overheating so same thing I drop the car off and a day later I’ll pick it up drive it to work then the check engine light comes on, at this point, I am through with everything. So I told him that I want a refund, I want my $2000 back. And they told me no for various reasons. But their reasoning kept changing. The car was never registered. So I deserved my money backBusiness response

Hello good afternoon! With regard to the claim in question. We did all the negotiations within Lemon Law. Because the customer chose to cancel the purchase after the car was registered, and even passed the state inspection. The car had problems, we promptly fixed the car.
Even so, he did not want to continue with the car. And as the customer no longer wanted the car, so that he would not have a bad credit in the bank in his name.
We paid off the loan for the total amount of the car debt, which actually exceeded the amount, as the car already had interest on the loan, even so we made the payment of the debt, and only the registration values that cannot be reversed, as they were paid to the ****
For the most part, everything that was within our reach was done.

I am rejecting this response because:
The car was NEVER registered please provide proof that the car was registered. I never went to the *** to register the car so that statement is just false. I have alot of documentation for this process if I ever need to provide it. Thanks I cant wait to get my 2,000 dollars back. That I took from my 401k

As already explained in person, and by message. There will be NO refunds, considering that we PAYOFF the car, and we were entitles to fix the vehicle. In order not to let the bank give Repo, I explain once again that we paid off the financing amount, so the amounts paid have no return. If you want to take this issue to court, please feel free, as we have enough evidence to claim the extra amount we paid to settle the car, and we were within our right to fix the car. And it is worth remembering that the car was in perfect condition.
