      Herb Chambers Cadillac Lynnfield I purchased as car from them on May 3,2024 they were putting it threw a safety inspection for 2 weeks clearly the car was not safe to be on the rode and they were having me test drive it before I purchased, this is extremely illegal. After 2 week on waiting for my car (which I already purchased and never had my keys in hand) I decided this car clearly has a lot of issues and clearly no safe and I returned to Cadillac Lynnfield to discuss with the ** who never never came down and meet my husband and I and never address any of our problems. Instead he told our dealer we have lost the 5 day return, even though this was on them and we NEVER received the car and was in THEIR shop for 2 weeks for the safety inspection. I was disappointed in this terrible customer service. My husband and I decided to purchase a different car from Cadillac of Lynnfield. Everything was smooth until we pick up this car the next day....when we test drove the car it did NOT have a crack on the windshield where the inspection sticker was (it had an expectation sticker at the of test driving) When we came to pick up the car the next day the inspection sticker was not on the car and a clearly new crack on the windshield. I was then told TO GET MY OWN inspection sticker and they will not do it at the dealership. I expressed that the sticker was on the car before and there wasn't a crack on the windshield. I was then told "I don't think you will have a problem getting a sticker" and "If you have a problem wait a couple weeks and file a claim with your insurance agency" this is clearly illegal and I am disappointed from a Cadillac Dealership this was the **s response to the car dealer. The dealership clearly did not want to do the inspection because it would cause them to PAY for a new windshield on the car. I would like a new windshield for my car from the dealership because I am not illegally saying that it didnt come from the dealership due to them not want to pay

      I sincerely apologize for the errors made by the dealership.  From the information I have gathered, we did do a pre-inspection on the car but not a deeper *** inspection.  Upon the *** inspection we discovered some issues that required more time.  *** mentioned that you wanted to look at another vehicle instead of taking that one, which I found completely reasonable. I do remember ******* the second inspection through due to your request via email to me.  I was completely unaware of an issue with the windshield with the second vehicle and would love a chance to make that right somehow for you.  We do not do sticker inspections here as we do not have a machine for them.  We do sometimes use the one next door at ********* but if I recall correctly you were transferring plates and that requires a sticker at a later date because the state keeps the old registration active for a short time while we file all of the proper paperwork to process the registration.  Please email me when you are able to so we can figure this out.  Again, I do apologize and take full responsibility.  I am open to any ideas to make this right for you.   My email is *************************************.

      Dear Sirs:On March 24, 2021 I leased a Cadillac XT4 from Herb Chambers and paid $5 000 as down payment. Since then, I have been paying $497 monthly, according to the contract. I have driven 4 600 miles. ** October, I received a notice that the air bag system has an "issue," and that I have to service the car. However, I left the brought the car five times, and left it for a couple of days, and they tried to fix the system. Finally, "the system can not be fixed because of supply shortage of parts," as I was told. The technician also informed me that it is dangerous to drive the car because the air bag can open at any moment. For three months, I am unable to drive the car although I have paid $497*3=$1.491. I contacted the business representative, Mr. *********************** four times trying to resolve the issue. I contacted ******************* representative Migel, and Cadillac office. Because I keep receiving diagnostic alerts every other day and I am unable to drive the leased car, I expect to receive the amount above along with $5000 down payment, $6 491 altogether.The car is in perfect condition and they can pick it up any time.Looking forward to hearing from you.
