Recruiter requested that I represent my employment history incorrectly. If that is not a warning flag what is?

I am embarrassed to report that I have been trapped by Boston Technology, which has proven itself to be typical of other third-rate head-hunting groups. They will bring you in with a "teaser" opportunity, and after you have expressed interest and provided an exclusive right to represent, you are informed that the job you were interested in does not exist. You are supposed to be comforted by the fact that there is another similar opportunity that they will submit you to even though they have already made a number of other submissions. And no job description is ever provided.Later, you will be contacted by different recruiters who are seeking your talent for the exact position you were originally interested in and were informed by BTC does not exist. You are now prohibited from submitting to that position through a different vendor due to possible conflict.Even after you separate officially from BTC (i.e., "Fired"), they continue to communicate in a most unprofessional manner telling you how uninformed you are about the C2C environment. I have to laugh at the poor quality of the English usage in such messages, but this is not funny.BTC recruiters are liars and frauds who put on the "full-court press" until they have tied your hands and then they do not perform.I receive no fewer than 25 approaches from firms such as this per day. Almost all of the go straight to SPAM. Unfortunately, I took a chance on BTC, even though they are a very small company, based on a search of their business history, and walked straight into a trap.
