On 4/16/2024 W&E Landscaping came out to plant 13 tree's. This company planted some of the tree's crooked and improperly. They didn't do anything to standby the work and refused to answer or return my calls. When I originally asked them for the quote they said they would standby any trees that died and would return / replant them. As of 5/28 they refuse to answer or resolve the issue. The company did some other work I'm not disputing but for the tree's I'm asking for a full refund of $1,430.00. I have lost all confidence in this company and will pursue legal action next if they refuse to resolve this issue,

We contracted with W&E for the 2023 landscaping season to provide biweekly mowing and aeration/overseeding work in the spring and fall seasons. The team failed to provide spring overseeding/aeration per our contract in the spring and said it was due to faulty equipment. They did not proactively tell us the services were not performed during this time - we had to call and ask for a refund of $180 for that portion of the services proactively. In fall 2023, the aeration/overseeding was again not performed. Since November 2023 we have been calling/emailing on almost a weekly basis and are repeatedly being assured they will send a check for $180 for the fall services not performed.

W&E Landscaping & Painting completed a project for us recently. At the start we were sent several quotes and agreed to have the work started before ******* traveled. There is some confusion with our account as we have paid for the work that was completed per the quotes plus some additional charges that we were not quoted. We are now being asked to pay an additional $2600. Although not included in any of the quotes we paid for over seeding ($280) and extra charges for patio stain (quote $908 and charge $1529). We also paid ($555) for electric even though after many requests we were never provided a quote. Note a few charges were corrected (a drywell and landscaping fabric were not installed, and charges were removed).Regarding the additional $2600, ******* has changed the description of what this is for several times: -When we spoke today he it was for labor, stone under island and digging for plumbing. -Previously it was described as Also, some items were not included in the first quote. For example, some of the rocks that were used to create the additional space behind the counter. (we paid for pea stone and cobblestone on an earlier quote/invoice behind the counter).-During another phone call ******* told us the charge was for stones under the island. -On the invoice it says "Masonry Materials -Blocks For the patio in the island" and "Landscape project -For Building patio for island." I believe this charge is to cover work that was a mistake by unsupervised employees installing stone under the island. When ******* returned from ****** they started removing the stones under the island because they were not planned/quoted and were not cemented down. ******* later suggested keeping them in place and we agreed but were never told there would be a $2600 charge for this. If this had been suggested this to us, we would have insisted the stones be removed at no charge as we did not ask for them to be installed per quote ****.

I was charged $200 for a fall clean-up service by this business. It is unclear what exactly was cleaned up, and the service actually created MORE work for me, the customer. The business apparently blew all of the leaves (did not haul?), which caused leaves to be packed underneath a wooden staircase in my backyard. To prevent decay from wet leaves from precipitation, I had to go out and clear out the leaves from my staircase - the leaves they blew under when they were actually supposed to be cleaning up the leaves. I understand this is a 2-part process and they were planning to return; however, this caused more work for me (the customer) in the interim due to the time lapse between visits and the potential for decaying wood due to precipitation on wet leaves packed under the staircase (when they should have been cleaning the leaves). I called numerous times and emailed multiple times - with no response in between several communication attempts. I am happy to provide evidence of emails. When someone from the business does return a call, they are unprofessional at best.

In mid September, 2021 I got a written project estimate to lay down 2 pallets of sod in an area of the lawn which had high slope. The amount was $2150 and I paid half the amount as asked before the start of the work. The company cleaned more healthy area of the lawn without my permission and later stopped the work because they wanted me to purchase 2 more sod pallets (100% estimate error). After I refused, they put some seeds but this created an uneven lawn because older sod was put in the middle. Two complaints 1) They said that I had grub infestation so they had to clean more. My fertilization company confirmed that this is not the case. I believe they lied to me to expand the scope of the project.2) At this time, they are not adjusting the amount. They are insisting that the work is done. I have to wait until next year to have someone fix this issue.Since they damaged the lawn already, I want them to reduce the amount so I can pay someone else to fix.
