The company sent electrician to mount [attach 4 new sconces to new wiring on a porch addition] --simple task --no issues--job completed in 1 hour. Text from owner[ *******************] --**** was $320. I wrote a check for billed amount 6/24/2022. I proceeded to call a contractor friend--talked to neighbors{one of which owns a construction company] and called a previously used electrician--------All folks mentioned above agreed --The one hour job I described was over billed to the extreme -- friends encouraged me to report such a dishonest business.Business response

We try whenever possible to give upfront pricing for most service tasks so the client knows exactly what they will be paying for the job regardless if we run across an issue or not. The fixture install was $80 each. Whether it took an hour or 4 hours, they know exactly what to expect as far as a charge. We find that this transparency works best everyone. You seem very pleased with the quality of the work and professionalism of the Electrician. I hope this helps answer your question.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. The business answered with an attempt to ignore my information with their " company policy". The problem is the business owner never stated policy when I called about the electrical work at my home---he only stated when his employee would arrive--if I would have been informed of his charges before the job was performed I would have called another electrician--I have had various people working on my recently purchased home and all have either presented a contract beforehand or worked on the basis of an hourly charge---which was my assumption with this electrical company --as he did not inform me otherwise when I called about the job.
