Paid 1500 for painting a deck and never finished the job. All I want is for this company to finish the ******** he doest respond to my phone calls and is avoiding me at every cost.Initial Complaint

I needed a painter that could meet my deadline of painting my ~900 sq ft studio sized in law apartment (that included, the small living and dining area, the bathroom, the kitchen and the small bedroom) so my mother can move into her apartment. *********************** insisted he could meet the deadline after I reiterated that I absolutely do not want to waste my time hiring someone that can not meet my deadline. The deadline is important because my mother was on the verge of homelessness. *********************** insisted on bringing his painting crew and insisted that he can absolutely meet my deadline. I sent ****** a full agreed upon payment of $1900 to complete the job and to meet my deadline.*********************** was paid in full $1900 upfront ~June 10, 2022 via ZELLE to complete the painting of my in law apartment with a promised deadline of getting it done within 10 days so my mother could move in.****** began painting by himself (without said promised crew) on June 9, 2022.As the 10th day approached, ****** was not half way through painting the apartment. At this point he nearly completed the living and dining area. I advised him that my mother is homeless and has nowhere to gothe apartment must be done at the very latest on June 21, 2022 so we can get her moved in.****** insisted it would be done by then and h*** bring his painting crew to meet the deadline (which he initially promised to do prior to getting the full installment of the $1900).The new deadline of June 21, 2022 approached and the apartment was just half way painted (just the living room and dining room was near completion and he began the kitchen. I reiterated to ****** that he once again received full payment for incomplete services. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom was not completed.He ended up not finishing the work within the deadline and refusing to respond or return partial refund.Business response

This customer is delirious The house was in rough shape lotta work had to get done and gave her a family discount because a fianc is my cousins father very rude shes trying to discredit my company we have plenty of reviews on other sites that state the same thingCustomer response
