Received a balance from Aspen on 10/17/22 for $208.75. Statements attached do not reflect this balance, but rather a $164 balance. Statements show that insurance was not billed, despite having Delta Dental during time of visit and submitted to Aspen in the *******, ** office in person. During a visit in Jan 2023, the front desk stated they didnt have my insurance on file. I have them my card again and they said theyd call me once it went through. No correspondence since and just received a bill from a a collection agency for $208.75. Complete false business practices, unexplained charge higher than what was on statement, and did not follow up with insurance processing as stated. I request these charges to be revoked from my account and the collection agency account to be closed. Name: *****************************, DOB 05/02/1998, Account ********.

On 2/18/2022 I went to Aspen Dental in ******* for new dentures. On 7/6/2022, while eating popcorn, a tooth fell out from the upper denture. I got an appointment on 7/7 to see them and they fixed the denture. On 8/5, while eating salad a second tooth fell out and I called them but couldn't get an appointment for that day because they were closing and I was going on vacation. I was able to use my old denture for the week and went to see them on Monday, 8/15. I spoke to the dentist and asked if I could get a new denture for free because I felt like the denture was defective. I was told that it is not defective and that she suggested that I always keep my old dentures on hand in case this happens again. I told her that if I had been in public this would have been embarrassing. She didn't have any empathy and said that some people get two sets of dentures for this reason. She also said that it may be the result of the way I chew my food or that I may grind my teeth or because I'm getting older my bones are different. I told her that I don't grind my teeth and I've always chewed the same way and my old dentures are not falling apart as these ones seem to be. Last night a third tooth fell out of the denture and I am calling them today for another appointment. I've had dentures for over 30 years and this has never happened to me and I feel that the material they used was not strong enough. I'm still working and I have to keep taking time off from work to go to these appointments. A few weeks ago I was at a business dinner and if this had happened while I was eating I would have been mortified.
