July 25th, 2022, ********************* last incoming call to me was at 10:44am indicating he was headed to leave to leave to go get the vin check. He initially wanted me to meet him at the *** if I was going to bring my plates. My response was I wanted to do a new registration. ***** response was okay he will keep me updated no need to meet him at the *** place. It started to getting late, so I called his line at the dealership no response. I called you at 2:26pm and I expressed my concerns. Then ***** calls me at 2:38pm and said I will not have the car till Thursday because the registration will be a process 3-5 days. He said this was his first time doing this process in RI. Also he said has no way of getting back home so he will have to drive the car back. Thats adding more mileage. When the agreement and legally binded paper indicates the sales tax will be paid. I will be responsible for the registration fee and the title fee. I no longer what the vehicle. I cancel with the finance company and insurance company. And when I tried to call the dealership they will not love me too with my contract. Dealership is Nissan colonial of Medford mass *************. in Medford mass.

So I had leased a vehicle from Colonial Nissan in march and unfortunately it was totaled a month later. I had put **** dollars down on it and it seems as if Im just going to have to take that as a loss. Anyway I went back to the same dealership and asked to lease another vehicle and they said yes of course. I asked if I would be able to take it home that day? Which they all replied yes. The ** and there financial guy included . So I give them **** hundred for the down payment and the salesman I was working with came to me with a figure of 480 a month. Which I wasnt happy with but accepted . So I went in to speak to the financial guy and he said to me ok so you went over the figures with the salesman ? Which I said yes and asked if this price included tire and wheel protection and the scheduled maintenance packages? He replied yes you will have all the same protection plans and its the same contract you signed before. So he gave me all the paperwork and I quickly signed all of them taking his word for it which I should not of done and it dawned on me I probably should of looked a little closer at the paperwork I signed but i did not. So I go out to wait for them to transfer the plates and finish up the loose ends . So eventually the salesman comes out and Im excited he has the keys in his hand and he states to me you cannot take the car home today. I asked why not ? He stated I was just informed that we are still waiting on the paperwork from your insurance that the liegn will be paid in full. So being super disappointed I asked how long can that take . A few weeks. I asked him who told you that. He said the financial guy just told him. So this is kinda were it all begins. So the same guys the finance guy and the ** !who told me absolutely no problem you can take this car home today did not know that they were waiting on the paperwork from the first leased car? That was the first lie of this story. Please call me or email. So many more lies and nocar4amonth

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. It is a shame it had to come to this . I asked repeatedly to refund my money and they said absolutely not you cannot do that. Well looks like they can. But they lied again . Aside from the *************************************************************************** for wheel and tire protection and routine maintenance I purchased for the first vehicle totaling right around **** dollars. I hope I dont have to file another complaint when they try and tell me no you only paid **** for those. We will see but I will take my refund and my business somewhere else. Thank you BBB.

      Regards,
