Royal Thermal has not performed quoted services that are under a signed contract for $4200. The scope of the job includes replacing 2 patio sliders with associated reframing woodwork. Unfortunately, the vinyl frame sections were originally built unevenly and most of the slider doors were damaged or defective. And now, even though 75% of installed product (3 of 4 panels) has dented vinyl, gouged molding, and scraped glass, the company demanded us to pay them in full (which we have) for work that was contracted but is still not completed. 8 months after the original installation in January 2022 (with rebuild of the mis-constructed frame in June 2022), we are told to contact the Manufacturer to seek a Warranty Claim. Royal Thermal also creates and adds-on exorbitant fees that are undocumented and unjustifiable. 8 months after original installation, a brand new invoice has been generated and sent to us. Royal Thermal is demanding to be paid an extra $890 for frame/sill woodwork that was quickly completed by one person with less than 2.2 hours of labor and $96 in material. Our estimate of that specific work is $316, which has been paid in addition to the contracted $4200. We are now told that we have lack of comprehension with a condescending attitude and that a lien will be placed on our home if we do not provide full payment of this newly invented invoice. In summary, 75% of our doors are still damaged or defective, we are newly being invoiced for more than our signed contract, and now we are receiving legal threats from Royal Thermal.

Not too good. They replaced a sliding door at my house, I noticed Carlos looking at a spot on glass, but he didn't say anything. The assistant was in the bathroom every 15 minutes vomiting, so I asked that he stay outside, as it was during the COVID epidemic. Well you know the rest of the story. Owner Chrissy was insulted and ignoring me after our discussions over the phone about the kid. He must be a family member. Theresa, in their office, asked for photos and a copy of the label on door a few months ago and said she would take care of it.I just followed up with her text and noticed her correspondence has been deleted or blocked. I left a message via voice mail and I can bet you know how Chrissy is going to handle this.

We installed patio door September 10, 2021 Initial email from customer can and will be provided as an attachment after door was installed. Our final email correspondence was on September 12, 2021 as we would not be returning to install customers windows and removed them from the work order due to both employees claiming to be extremely uncomfortable with questions of their ethnicity (both are American born here) and unable to work within the distance requirements as customer was directly behind them monitoring them at all times. Also indicating she had "many expensive things" and requested two "different" employees as she "had to watch them like a hawk" one of my lead carpenters on the job at the time had been with the company for over 15 years. His apprentice had been working with us at the time for a year with several years of experience coming from a local trade school and graduating in 2009 and working in the trade since graduation. The apprentice has absolutely no relationship to anyone in the company. He suffers from a medical condition that he has to use the washroom once or twice when working in a customers home for 6 - 12 hours; homeowners know that people conducting work in their home for several hours; may have to use the facilities during this time. Had it been known that a customer does not want the facilities used in their home, I would price the job accordingly to have an outhouse available on site. Not one time did the apprentice vomit. He explained he was not vomiting. As the customer interrogated him while he was in the washroom as to "what he was doing in there" . Not one time was the customer "ignored" I have all email communication. The last one 9/12/2021 On February 22, 2023 customer called with a seal failure on the panel doors I immediately placed the order for new panels to be remade. On June 9th the panels were delivered - I will upload any and all documents of this as well. My first call from customer (since the February call, was at ****** yesterday (6/30/2023) requesting an update as she had been communicating to my secretary via her cellphone whom has moved and no longer working for the company. I immediately called, once back in the office at 7:36 to receive a voicemail. I called twice today (July 1st 2023) same number and received the voicemail. I then went into our emails from 2021 to get customers home number which I called and left a voicemail. I then sent a text message to the cell number arranging a time to install the patio door panels.. I did not have any inclination at that time that the customer filed a complaint to the ******************** and left defamatory claims against my employees and myself. All communication will be uploaded. Furthermore, ****** industries requests any service requirements to be handled directly through them for the first five years after an installation. We as a company do not have to handle service request for manufacturing issues but we CHOOSE to do that for all of our customers to alleviate any hassle of going directly through the manufacturer and to insure the customer is happy with the quality of the replacement product. We will be taking legal action to remove this complaint as it is libelous and discriminatory.
