Found this company on Thumbtack and hired them on Sept 2021 to demolish and expand parts of my house severely damaged by an adverse climate event. My complaint is about the poor execution of the carpentry part of the project and overall poor workmanship. Although framing passed *********** soon after I discovered several issues going from the installation of joist hangers, window openings, interior and exterior walls, and the installation of the house sheathing. They majority of the material was poorly installed without following manufacturer directions. Mistakes with the house sheathing were covered with sheathing tape and hidden by the house wrap. In addition, the crew working on this project, damaged brand new and expensive European windows even thought they were told to protect them during the construction. Contractor was notified about all issues. He offered to come back to fix all the issues, but I refused because of lack of trust in his ability to properly execute the repairs. When I started having issues with them, the owner changed the name of the company to SG, and I have recently found out that the name of the company is now Celite Home Construction on Thumbtack. The owner is using pictures of my house along with false information (like location of the house, value of the projects etc.) to showcase his projects. He has not had my permission to use those pictures especially with false information. Another thing. He insisted that I pulled the permit with the city of Concord MA and then used this against me to perhaps avoid liability for his bad job. I have been spending a lot of time and money to fix all the problems this business caused me. I am seeking a refund.
