The material herein appears to indicate that ************************ has made perjurious statements, has lied on official documents, and may have misrepresented facts in his interactions with an official government office. We initially signed a contract with Safety First Electric (***********************************) in March of this year, expecting that they would handle all necessary procedures, including submitting the requisite permit paperwork prior to commencement of the work we contracted them for. Upon further examination, it was evident that the installation was not performed according to building code.It is deeply troubling that our trust in a professional contractor resulted in this unfortunate situation, a situation that could have been avoided had they fulfilled their obligations as they were supposed to.************************ signed a document with the **** certifying his statements to be true and correct. It also acknowledges that construction activities should not commence until the Building Permit is issued. It's my understanding, and the understanding of most, that only after all necessary approvals have been obtained, a Building Permit may be granted to allow construction. However, the details seem to present a troubling contradiction. ************************ uploaded the Site Plan and the Snap Rail Report on the 25th of April and the Construction Plan on April 19. The disconcerting fact here is that the project was installed on April 15 - ahead of when these crucial documents were submitted and before the Building Permit was issued.Even more disturbing shows ************************ discussing the future construction of the project, implying compliance with all the relevant rules and regulations. This seems to be a direct contradiction of the reality that he had already commenced construction prior to obtaining the necessary permit.************************ violated all norms of professionalism.Customer response

You wanted me to clarify what type of relief I want. I want this Master Electrician to pay for the work neccessary for a construction project he installed that was in violation of code. He must cover all costs to make this conform to code and also reimburse the customer for his wasted time.Customer response

BBB spoke directly with the consumer and he advised that they have issues with the work that was performed and that the work is not done to code. The consumer would like the business to come out and rectify the issues so the job is completed to code.
