On April 28, 2022 I purchased a 2010 **** 150 Pickup truck from B&G from *************. The next day, April 29, 2022, I drove approx. 12 Miles and the Check Engine Illuminated. This is because B&G reset the *** computer before picked up the truck. I purchased the relying on the expertise of the dealer and that the truck was fit for usability. ***** muffler (** registration) and they failed it due to a P0420 error on May 5,2022 (7 days within the Lemon Law period). I went back to ***** to get the documents and mailed then to ****** and he replied: This report was issued May 26, 2022. You bought the truck April 28,2022. According to ************* used cars law ( M.G.L. c. 90, 7N ) , You MUST inspect the vehicle within seven days after purchase date I then provide the provided the original order and ****** replied with the following: 1- No warranty for vehicle with more than ******* miles. ***** this link: https://www.mass.gov/guides/guide-to-used-vehicle-warranty-law#-what-is-the-used-car-lemon-law?-2- Vehicle MUST be inspected within seven days after purchase.3- Our dealer located in ************* and follow ******************* car law according to that the Vehicle must be inspected at an authorized ************* inspection station; I replied stating that hes citing the wrong law and hiding behind it. And I quoted the following laws that applies The law that applies here is are that if implied warranty of merchantability; speficilly: ************ 106, ***** (Uniform Commercial CodeWarranty of Merchantability)************ 106, ***** (Uniform Commercial CodeWarranty of Fitness for Particular ************ 106, 2-316A(No Disclaimer of Warranty in Consumer Sale) The bottom line is the Truck was not fit for sale and they knew it I drove it less than 15 miles and the Check engine light cam on. This is despite the fact that they advertise a warranty on the window of the truck, the Wed advertisements and P&S.... shameful.Customer response

On 10/25/21, I purchased a 2012 *** Terrain from B&G Auto Sales in ********** for $8,200. While driving home, it smelled like fuel and made clunk sounds when I went over bumps. The next day, I noticed an oil leak on my garage floor. My daughter also complained about the smell and I decided to take the car to the dealer for inspection. On 11/4/21, I took the car to the *** dealer in Mansfield and they told me that the smell I was smelling is a bad Exhaust Manifold gasket which would cost $1,669.86. The car also needed a complete oil pan, seal, timing, chain camshaft, complete work which will cost $6,603.84. The vehicle also needed other major things like 4 tires, front links, lower control arms, and front/rear diff services. They estimated around $13,000 for repairs. On 11/5/21, I took the car for inspection and it failed inspection. On 11/5/21, I took the car back to B&G to return car. I met with ****** and ***. They told me that the dealer is expensive and he has his own mechanic and he would fix all the repairs and put 4 new tires and I can leave the car and come back on 11/9/21 to pick up the car. I went back and picked up the car and asked *** what was repaired and he said his mechanic completed everything and all he did was the 4 tires. I asked him to put it in writing what his mechanic completed and he refused and just verbally confirmed that his mechanic completed the repairs. Later on the next day, I notice oil leak again on the floor, clunking over bumps continues, smell continues. I called B&G Auto on 11/11/21 to let them know that I was still having issues. I left several messages and have not gotten a response. on 11/15/21, I took the car back to the dealer to find out if the oil leak, Exhaust Manifold, front links, lower control arms ball joints were replaced? The dealer told me that the 4 tires are the repair that they can see that was completed. I Have called this dealership several times to try and get my refund before 30 days and no response.Customer response
