I purchased an Electronic Control Module from this company on 11/9/2021 as I was having an issue with my truck not starting and it appeared to be the module not working for the fuel pump. It took approx. 1 week to receive the part. I installed it in my truck that wouldn't start and had the truck towed to the dealer to have it programmed to my truck as this company advised. The dealership was not able to get the new module to accept the programming and reinstalled the original module. As it turns out, there was nothing wrong with the original module and other problems were found. I picked up my truck and the defective module and called National parts on Monday to advise their new part was defective. I was given a run around and was asked to gather more info from the dealer. I obtained requested info. and they wanted me to pay the shipping to send the defective part back before a refund could be given. I actually didn't want a refund to begin with, I was going to simply let them replace the module with one that wasn't defective or allow them to repair the defective one. But before I could explain this, the rep. kept cutting me off and speaking to me as I was bothering her. I got frustrated and asked to speak to a manager., I was advised I could wait to speak to a manager, I would have to wait for a return call. I have now waited 3 days with no return call. I sent an email to **** that was on the order sheet as a contact and he replied that was I was telling him made no sense. I sent him a copy of the invoice and now he isn't returning my emails. I paid $806.25 for this part that never worked. I have also never received the form necessary to get a refund from them. Most dis-respectful company I have ever encountered and unwilling to stand behind their product. Attached is a copy of the order and the invoice from the dealer that attempted the programming. I have already supplied this company with the dealer invoice too.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. They have not replied to my email and I have not received the form they said they were going to send me in order to get the refund. Their customer service manager has also never returned my call. What would be next course of action?

I submitted a request to National Parts Wholesalers to analyze my automobile electronic module (known a `PCM'). I agreed to a cost of $164.00 which included the diagnostic evaluation of my module and necessary repairs (if unit was deemed repairable through their technicians). After waiting a week for a response, I phoned the company help line and was informed that were still diagnosing my module. I finally recieved a follow up email from an employee who had been my only source of contact informing me my module could not be repaired due to circuit board chip was irreplaceable. They offered a rebuilt module to me for a replacement. After extensive research into the average cost of a replacement module, it became very obvious to me that National Parts Wholesalers was performing a 'bait and switch' tactic on me, where thr 'bait' was the claim that they could repair 'most' modules, only to 'switch' with the exorbitant cost for a module they just happen to have available! They should have known from previous experience that this module was never capable of being repaired, based upon their history of the product. Yet that took my money without informing me of that given outcome.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  They have retruned a PCM (module) to my address, but it is not my module that I originally submitted for repair.

To-date, I have not received the return of my payment to them for repair work that was not performed on my module per the contract agreement.
