We dined at Slip 14. When we received the bill, I presented my card and did NOT tip due to the poor service and food. Slip 14 added a $24 tip to my bill. This is fraud and I would like the money returned to me. I made a point not to leave a tip. The restaurant doesnt have the right to add $24. 00 to my billBusiness response

Good Evening,
***************** contacted our restaurant with a concern about an overcharge. After a polite conversation I looked into the matter and discovered that a gratuity had been added incorrectly due to human error. Our servers will settle numerous guest checks at the end of the shift and there are rare occasions of human error. I quickly refunded the $24 to ***************** through Toast (our POS System) and called to notify her of the refund. This all happened in an efficient (refunded 5 days after the charge) and professional manner. I feel that we did the right thing in this circumstance.
