      I started a new job week of 07/11/22. Standing/walking on concrete floors 60 hrs that wk.July 15, 2022 I visited The Good Feet Store **********, **. Sales person *****************************. Stated why I was there. She took an imprint of both feet. I fell into high arch category. She retrieves 3 sets of inserts. And 3 pairs of shoe liners at $30: each. I asked if I can only purchase 1 pair of inserts, that I didnt want 3. I begrudged the thought of having to stop at work & change the inserts out per a daily chart schedule she provided. The chart is for 12 ********** wear each insert increasingly longer time frame wise. She stated I require all 3 sets & 3 pairs of insoles. I followed the schedule per instructions. Mon Aug 1, 2022 I emailed ********************************************* She replied to come in for a reassment. 08/04/22 I went back to store. While waiting she was helping a gentleman. I could hear their conversation as they were only several feet away. She asked his age/profession.. He 32 yrs old. Construction worker. She attempted to sell him the same 3 sets of inserts at $500 each. He didnt want to spend that much. She then offered him 1 pair of Temporary inserts that are food for 1 yr at $150. He purchased this item. I then asked when ****** assisted me, why wasnt I provided that option? She states we try to sell the $1500 sets. That the $150 inserts, those Are for kids. The geneman was 32 yrs old. Not a kid. She avoided further conversation regarding what she sold him. I asked for refund becauss my feet pain has been worse wearing the inserts she mislead me into purchasing. She provided me with another 3 sets of different inserts. She stated I should see a diff in 6-8 wks. I tried for 1 day & will Not wear them again. They caused excruciating pain throught out the day wearing them. They dont offer refunds because in my opinion they know they cant stand by their product. They are not custom fit. I want to be reimbursed my $1,590.00. Thank You

      BUYER BEWARE! Let me start by saying I'm a 56 year old retired Firefighter. I'm 5'7" and 230 lbs with an athletic build. Up until this episode I walked at least 2 miles a day. I have had Plantar fasciitis before (about 6 years ago) and got it under control with OTC arch support inserts. I went on a long hike in the mountains and about a week later it started. I was in moderate pain from for about a month when I decided to check out this place with the promising name and the impressive looking storefront. When I went in I was met by a friendly associate who asked me what brought me in. I told him about my pain and he quickly shuffled me over to a display. That's when the pushy salesman emerged. He had me walk over an ink pad to make foot prints for "diagnosis". I'm not sure how he could "diagnose" a medical condition from a footprint of an already hurting foot. Then he rambled on about flat feet and knee and back problems I might have later in life if I didn't buy his products. This is the point where I should have turned around and walked (or limped) out of the store. They are not medical professionals of any sort. To be fair there are some people that genuinely believe they are getting their money's worth and the salesman never claimed to be medical a professional, but they do pray on the injured and they do use deceptive sales practices to over charge for non refundable chunks of plastic that in my case prolonged and increases my pain. I payed $1600 for 3 sets of inserts, a program to follow and a pair of sneakers. I followed the program for almost 2 months before I realized how much worse my feet had gotten. By the time I gave up I could only be on my feet for 30 minutes before I had to sit due to the pain. I only felt relief a week after I switched back to my old shoes and a pair of over the counter arch support inserts. Frankly I don't know how they are aloud to operate a business like this in America with no accountability.
