Having anything done in our apartment is like pulling teeth. Weve been in a battle with our condo to fix the grout and mildew/mold in our shower for months and they flat out told us they will not take care of it and its on us even though cleaning products have not done the job and the issue is just getting worse. Do not move to any of their properties.

I wholeheartedly believe that they discriminate and retaliate against certain residents. I lived at their community ****************, ***************, ** and had a horrific experience living there. We were issued a nonrenewal for absolutely no reason whatsoever. However, I spoke on the phone with *******************, a higher-up from Northland, and she said that they choose to issue nonrenewals simply because THEY CAN. How unethical is that?! You have good residents and for absolutely no reason whatsoever, you kick them out? How in the world does that make logical sense. The fact we were issued a nonrenewal still makes no sense. They have plenty of units available for rent, so I dont understand the need to kick people out of a unit when they have too many available units.Review from Mathew R.

THE WORST! They buy old run down apartment communities and cant find proper contacts to fix them. Horrible upgrading, poor management choices too. Its crazy to tell someone just buy ear plugs because the upstairs neighbors are way too loud. Mind you the units removed all rugs and padding upstairs, raised rent, and called it an upgrade. Now I hear every bit of noise upstairs and have been stuck in another years lease because everywhere is too expense. I asked to move my unit and was told I have to pay the new lease about which almost doubles my original rent amount.Review from Jaydica M

An absolute joke and embarrassment of a management property. My boyfriend and I moved from ** to ** and have had issues since we moved in in May. Upon moving in, we were informed we did not have a working thermostat. For the past 7 MONTHS we have dealt with poor management, being blatantly ignored by ***************************** (GM of ************* Apartments) and ****** (Regional Manager), and uneducated / unprofessional maintenance men. One maintenance man we dealt with was proven to be a methamphetamine user as well as thief. Our thermostat does not work and we continue to get answers such as, "I don't know", "I think it works now", and my personal favorite "I'm not sure if we can fix it". I hope anyone who thinks about renting at ************* in ******, ** chooses differently.
