In September I'd set up automatic payments to come out of my bank account at discover to pay for my loan. I was not advised on the website that my ************* was not part of an agreement that they could withdraw from. So it's been impossible for me to make payments on my car loan because they won't take money from a valid bank that I have. I have tried doing wire transfers and they've given me wrong information multiple times leading to my car being impounded and having several days of impound fees charged. Their lack of direct communication also led to me not knowing that this wasn't being drafted out and my car getting impounded. Since I found out at 9:00 at night Wednesday December 13th I've been trying to make payments. It is physically impossible to get over $3,000 in cash from any bank right now. They refused to take an ACH and have returned wires I have sent to them. At this point I have no ability to pay them apart from pulling out $500 in cash everyday and then handing it to them leading to $100 lot fee on top of the fees I already have. This loan was given to me in a predatory manner as well. I desperately needed to refinance my loan so I could register my car in a state that required a title in physical hand. New Hampshire did not recognize that and so I had to refinance to get a hold of my physical title. I never saw what my monthly payment was, I never saw what the percentage of the interest was, and I signed blankly because it was the only option I was given. After 9 months of not having a car I was very much cornered. It seems absolutely ridiculous that they can't accept money from other banks just because they refuse to have a contract with them. The only except **** and ******************* You can't even use a MasterCard so I can't even put money in venmo and have them charge that. This is the most impossible bank to pay a loan on. At this point I'm about ready to say keep my car because They literally won't take my money. I'm beginning to feel they just want my car. It seems like a really unfair business practice. And because of the damage they've done to my credit I now can't open another banking account to even attempt to transfer through some other means. They have bent me over a barrel and tied my hands and legs.
