My Husband needed a refill of his inhaler and the facility would not fill it until he was seen for a physical. Because it was last minuet he had to see whomever was available. Billing sent it to our insurance under with his primary PCP ID and did not use the provider ID of the doctor he did see that day so his visit was denied by our insurance. I have called the billing department numerous times and they refuse to rebill correctly to our insurance. My last correspondence with them was 11/18/22 after I had spoken with BCBS to see why it wasn't covered to begin with. Despite numerous requests to have it rebilled appropriately, We are now in collections. My husband also has an underlying medical condition and they are refusing to see/treat him unless he pays this outstanding balance that should have been covered by insurance had it been billed correctly. He was seen on 8/29/23 for a sick visit and bloodwork was done without incident. They then asked him to come back on 9/2/23 because his white blood cell count is elevated and he is a high risk patient. That is when this billing issue came up again and they refused to treat him. He is still very sick and needs to see a doctor but we are not responsible for this balance. We would like Tristan to rebill our insurance properly and take this out of collections.Customer response
