I wish I had looked at this website prior to hiring FCM. 1st off, the crew was AWESOME!!! They helped me unload a truck for one of my clients. The problem came when I questioned several charges on my bill. To be clear we never got a written contract or written estimate. We gave them a deposit of $149 that we were told would be applied to the final bill. But only $100 was applied to final bill. Weird.Then I got an environmental fee of $29.99 which we never knew about. (In fact I've never seen an environmental fee on a moving contract). I inquired about this and got a call from Patrick the owner. When I questioned them withholding $49 of my deposit he said this was an industry standard. I then stated "So you charged me $49 for the privilege of working with you?" and his response was that I was being disrespectful and that I need to be respectful to finish the conversation. He then went on to state that the retention of the $49 was in case we had to reschedule or something. Nothing of the sort ever was told to us nor did it happen. We booked them, they arrived on time and did the job. He then dropped an F bomb and told me not to tell him how to run his company. He did say he would give me the $49 back but I'm not holding my breath.I then questioned what the environmental fee was for since they didn't load up or move anything in their truck, the crew simply had dollies that they used to unload my truck. He then hung up on me. I called him back and he proceeded to 3 x's tell me to go F myself. The owner is a terrible person with literally 0 communication, listening and problem solving skills. I own a business myself and I've never dealt with a customer like this, I wouldn't dream of it. Again, the crew was amazing! I was just surprised at the extra charges on my bill (hourly rate charged was accurate, no issues there) and when I questioned Patrick for clarity I was sworn at multiple times. Stay away! How Patrick has stayed in business is mind boggling to me.
