      JT started the job on 9/6/21 - promising a one day removal/installation of tub/new shower enclosure & glass doors. Turned out to be a 3+ day project which finished on 9/17/21. Two days after completion, I noticed a cracked in one of the shower shelves and they didn't put the insulation & moisture barrier back under my house. Waited 2 weeks for **** to stop by - never did. I fixed the insulation & moisture barrier myself. Jeff came onto my property without my knowledge to look at it - it was done. I then found another crack in the shower enclosure on the back wall. Jeff came to look at it and told he me was not going to replace it but look for a "fix it" kit. I told him I wanted it replaced and didn't pay for a cracked shower enclosure but did for a new one. He accused me of "hanging from the grab bar" to make it crack. A little bizzare - but grab bars are made to be "grabbed". I have emailed Jeff T**** again to give him another chance but have heard nothing.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/10/26) */ It was presented to me that her 90 year old mother needed a stand up shower and I installed it. There wasn't a crack when I left. If there was a crack in the acrylic I would have filled it. I stand prepared to work with the consumer for any needed repairs but I am not willing to replace the entire installation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2021/10/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The installation was not correct - and it cracked. I paid for a new, no cracks shower installation. The shower enclosure is damaged and/or not installed correctly. The cracks will leak over time and damage the walls behind them. I am not interested in a $10 repair on a NEW shower enclosure. A day after installation, I noticed the first crack and then the second a few days later. I contemplated stopping payment on the check I paid with but thought JT would guarantee his work and fix it properly - I was wrong and should have stopped payment on the $3,000 check I gave him the day before! Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2021/11/09) */ Day 1: 9-7 Shower enclosure delivered from plumbing supply house. Shower was fully installed and complete with shower head and valve. We finished the day about 6pm. I was not able to install the shower door. ***** said she could use a shower curtain till we came back. Her next availability was thursday 9-16 but not until 2pm, because she might be going to the beach. She gave me a check for half the amount and I would be back on 9-16. Day 2: 9-16 Shower door installed. New shower head replaced with different style upon DIanes request. Grab bar installed. Vanity top replaced. About 8pm we called it a day. The casing around shower was only thing left, and agreed to come back friday 9-17 after she gets home from work at 5. Day 3: 9-17 Install casing around shower, install toilet paper roll, caulking/ touchup complete. Final payment given. The shower has now been in use for 10 days and no word of any crack or defect Sunday: 9-19 ***** text me and asks for me to call her. No word of any crack or defect, she had a problem with the insulation. I told her I would stop take a look. I was super busy that week and thought she was a little out of line, just being something so minor I never followed up, because I know it was put back the way it was and I didnt get anymore follow ups from her. 9-30 Email from ***** about insulation, and first mention of any crack or defect. The shower had now been in use for 24 days with no mention of any crack or defect. I went back there twice and there was no crack. I've been in business since 2009. I never had an issue with quality of my work or the products I use.
