      On June 8th I had this company come out to look at my ******* Fridge as it was not staying cool. The tech was very nice but did not open up the fridge to see what was going on but instead said he knew what was wrong. I needed a new fan and temperate gauge. He was going to have to order parts. He asked for a deposit which I made via check. The tech could not come back out for about a week. I contacted ******* to get some advice and they advised me to unplug the fridge for 24 hours. That fixed the problem. I called first thing in the morning (3 days in advance) to notify the company I would not need their service. I asked for my deposit back and I was told over the phone that should not be a problem and someone would be in touch. I called and called and no one ever got back to me. Last week I was told I would not get a refund. The person actually hung up on me and was very unprofessional. She stated that on my receipt that was sent to me after I made payment, it was never mentioned to beforehand, that there was no refunds. I would really just like my money back.

      I purchased a ****** and Paykel dishwasher and there was an issue with it locking. I reached out to ****** and Paykel technical service customer service line **************. They sent a subcontracted local appliance repair tech from Appliance Repair Center - owner ************************* - ***************************************************** - ************ - ************ - https://appliancerepaircenter-ma.com/testimonials.htm On 09-29-22, the technician, *******, damaged my brand new cabinet door front on the dishwasher. I spoke to ***** and **** from the office staff and they stated that **** was putting in an insurance claim and I would get reimbursed the $341 to replace the damaged cabinet front. Over the next several months I reached out via telephone, voicemail, and email to ****, Appliance Repair Center and never received a call back or any communication regarding the insurance claim. At this point, I believe **** did not place an insurance claim and will not honor his commitment for reimbursement. I reached out to ****** and ****** several times because they sent this vendor to my home and they should be responsible for their actions and/or lack of actions and reimburse me for the damaged. So at this point both ****, Appliance Repair Center and ****** and ****** are not honoring my request for reimbursement. Based on the * rating from the BBB I hope others will read these complaints and find another company to assist with their appliance repairs. I would hope that ****** and ****** will discontinue their relationship with Appliance Repair Center so that future ****** and Paykel customers don't get stuck with this company.

      I received a text message from a person named ***** the contractor on behalf of Appliance Repair cCnter on Sunday, November 13 at 7:49 am wanting to come look at the damaged cabinet front. When I responded to the text, I did not receive another text message to schedule a time to come look that the cabinet damaged. ***** never came to my home.

       

      I have not heard from *************************, the owner of the company and/or from the office manager ****. This complaint has not been resolved.

      We contacted this business on 3/28/2022 regarding a sub-zero refrigerator that wasn't cooling adequately. They came on 4/1/2022 and made an assessment. He came on5/5/2022 and thought that we might have a slow leak and added refrigerant instead of replacing the compressor. He said this might save us money and if it didn't work, he would return and install the compressor.His fix didn't solve the problem, so we called and made another appointment for yesterday, 5/18. Again, Bri from the company confirmed the appointment between 9:00-1:00. When no one showed up, we called to confirm he was on the way and I spoke with ******* She said he was running late and we his next stop. He never came and we haven't hear from the company. I did text Bri and asked if he was coming.We have paid for a repair service that wasn't completed. We have not had any correspondence from the company. We have sought a repair from another company so we are due a refund.

      On October 19, 2021 a technician came out to run diagnostic on our dishwasher which cost $120. On October 28, 2021 he returned to install a new part which did not fix the problem. I was told they had to order another part but I would need to pay an additional $215.78 (half the cost of repair - the other half would be due when the repair was complete). On November 10, 2021 the technician came out again put in the second new part, which still didn't fix the problem, but they charged my credit card the last $215.78 anyway - for a total of $551.56. The dishwasher is still not working and they claim they are "waiting on a part from GE". I just called and asked for a refund, but the office manager said she would need to talk to the owner and get back to me. I have called every week, they always say they will "check on it" and get back to me but I never get a call back. I have ordered a new dishwasher (from a different company).

      We had our refrigerator repaired and ordered a water filter. The new part came in and was repaired but **** forgot the filter. He said they would ***** it, it never came. This was on 11/30/21. I have tried calling the office to get a refund but every time they say that person is busy and they will call me back. No one has. I just want a refund for the filter, $72.00, I ordered ********** for less

      Appliance Repair Center sent a tech out once to review the issue, left stating they needed a part. Tech came back but they stated the wrong part was ordered after taking the oven apart. The next day we get a text that they are no longer working with our warranty company Frigidaire. The next day a part fell out of our oven due to the tech breaking a part of the oven. The business has not responded to our request to fix nor did they provide their liability insurance.

      Month of October from 10/25 till present day. We hired appliance repair center to fix an broken washer. After weeks of horrible communication and a missed appointment because of that, a technician did a diagnostic service on our washer. We were told we needed a part to fix it, We paid 50% of the cost of the repair, and we were told we needed to schedule another appointment for the repair to be done and someone from the company would call us. It took a few days to get the call. When we finally got another appointment the technician realized the part ordered to repair our washer was broken in the package. It wasn't even noticed till the part was being pulled from the box it came in. We again had to schedule another appointment and they couldn't come any sooner then two weeks out. There was no effort to put us in an earlier appointment even though it wasn't our fault that the part was broken. At this point my husband and I decided it wasn't worth dealing with the company anymore. We asked for our money back, or at least half, so the technician could be compensated for his diagnostic call. (I was told when scheduling initially it would cost $90 for a diagnostic call, but it was waived if we went ahead and did the repair with the company.) We would at least like whatever we paid minus that cost refunded, but the owner refuses to work with us. I have been calling and leave messages for weeks. I talked to "managers" who claim they have no way to help me unless the owner signs off on a refund, and we NEVER GET CALLED BACK. Finally today we talked to another manager who told us flat out the owner said no, and he doesn't take personal calls (even though this was a business call), and we need to just basically deal with losing the money on a job not done due to no fault of our own. We never got the terms and condition we "signed". The "office" address isn't even a real office- and everyone works from home. All we wanted was for the owner to speak with us and be reasonable.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. We have tried to resolve this issue since mid October. The company owner refuses to speak with us, does not call us back. We deal with the customer service representatives mostly and they have told us that the owner will not be contacting us, and we have no chance of getting our money back. The owner refuses to come up with any type of solution.
