I called to dispute a debt that is not mine and they hung up on me. Very poor customer service for someone who is just trying to make sure something they dont owe shouldnt go on their report!Review from John W

I have been receiving persistent text messages from Credit Collection Services (CCS) regarding a supposed debt. However, I have never used any service they mentioned in their communications. When I attempted to verify the validity of these claims, I found no evidence or proof that this is a legitimate business operation.The texts provide no validation or detailed information about the debt they claim I owe. This lack of transparency and the unsolicited nature of their messages make me question the legitimacy of CCS. I strongly advise others to be cautious and not to provide any personal information in response to their messages.After doing my research online, I found out that there are instances where CCS has attempted to collect debts that individuals either do not owe or have already paid. For example, people have received demands for payment on insurance policies that were canceled or settled. WHY IN THE **** WOULD YOU PAY THIS COLLECTION AGENCY? Collection agencies bought your debt from the original creditor for a few dollars, or it was assigned to them. Meanwhile the original creditor wrote the debt off (in most cases) and moved on. Your agreement between you and the original creditor died when the creditor gave up on the debt and wrote it off on their taxes. Do you want a better way? Good. If I provide you with the tools and knowledge needed, will you act on it? Will you take the time to educate yourself and implement the legal strategies that are proven to work? This company is a scam. They keep saying my husband has a delinquent debt for ******* never had *******. This has been going on since January. They hit my husband credit in November for a bill he never had. They keep sending this fake debt to **********. And TransUnion is telling me this is my debt. How can you have a debt if you never had service from *******. This is fraud.Review from Allison C

I have a low amount debt that I would like to pay right away. I cannot find any possible way to pay this online. Website will not load on any browser. Based on other reviews, paying by phone does not seem like a viable solution as they seem unlikely to send receipt of payment which I refuse to pay without.Review from Chris P

Worst customer service ever. They give an attitude for asking simple questions like **** I have an email confirmation of my payment?" The agent said "yes', however, what he sent me was a link to a payment portal. I made the payment over the phone with him yet they don't want to give you a simple confirmation receipt. I called them back and they said that it takes 8 days to get a confirmation of my payment. The money was drafted from my account and other ****************** give you a receipt immediately. They do not. Avoid them at all costs.Review from jay m

they call me at least 2x a day, phone auto blocks the call. keep calling asking for my brother, who I've explained, never had this phone # (mine, which I've had for over 20yrs now) and he is also in federal prison for the next 10+ years. I've explained this to them at least 4-5 times and they continue to call, at that point I blocked the calls.Review from ayan a

I have never experienced a more frustrating and incompetent company than The CCS Companies, **** Their handling of debt collection is not only unethical but also highly questionable. Despite repeated requests, they failed to provide any legitimate documentation proving that I owe any debt. Instead, they resorted to incessant harassment through phone calls and misleading letters. Their customer service is a nightmare; representatives are rude and completely unhelpful, merely parroting back the same unverified claims without any real effort to resolve the issue. I am appalled by their lack of transparency and professionalism. This company seems to operate in the shadows of legality, and I would advise anyone to steer clear of their dubious practices. They are an absolute disgrace to the financial services industry.
