Been Using Blue Bear for Tankless Water ********************* since they installed the Unit in 2020. Today they charged us $390 for the Annual Maintenance plus a $125 fee to dispatch the Plumber to our House and do the work (slightly up from the previous years). He then told us my Mother-In-Law that the Scale Inhibitor (Cartridge) needs to also be replaced annually, and this "option" is an additional $330. Unfortunately she agreed to this insane extra charge.Here my issue with Blue Bear! The Scale Inhibitor Replacement is recommended by the units manufacturer and makes sense, but if we are already paying $390 for the annual Maintenance, at best they are justified to charge for the additional cost of the Scale Inhibitor Cartridge which I found online for $40-50, NOT $330. ****** learned. Will not use Blue Bear again in the Future, and can not recommend in good Faith to friends or neighbors.As a Footnote, the scheduling window is from 8-4pm, which is extremely inconvenient, in particular since they did not show up on the initial date and had to reschedule for a second day. On a positive side, the Technician that came was extremely experienced and friendly.Review from Robert M

False advertising for hiring apprentices, has a manager **** who asks for photos of work and then never responds. Dont trust this company in stolen photos of work. Disgusted that I was offered a job by the owner ***** came into my job and then told me his manager would get back to me. I blew my lid because I work my a** off while they have like 15 men standing at one job site doing nothing, and leaving trash and loitering the neighborhoods especially ******, ** hospital hill. Awful response team if your trying to get hired and get licensed. Im sure paperwork never gets done on time for licensingReview from cindra z

Poor job performance, no quality control, leave their trash in the crawl space for plumbing job and in ceiling for hvac. There is no walk thru on alleged completion and customer serivice is pathetic. They want you to pay a 200 fee to come check their work when there is a problem with it. I spent ***** with them in a 6 month span on two jobs. They are horrible people and a terrible company.Review from Jim S

Got a estimate to fix not replace the flush parts on my toilet the total quote was over $620.If you plan to use him do not, look at the reviews not on his website again do not use.Look at YELPReview from Roseann p

They send very qualified people I have them for my heating and cooling systems They may charge a little more than the cheaper companies but when I had the cheapest company they nearly destroyed my tankless water heater Join the customer care program and they do not charge for calls They are great!***************************Review from Diana R

My mother, a senior citizen, used this company when her toilet would not flush properly. After all was said and done, she had a new toilet, but the bill was over $2000. First, they sent two separate people. The first one used an auger to fix the clog and it cost $625! The second said that the toilet needed to be replaced and charged over $1300! I called and expressed my disappointment at their pricing and got nowhere. This company is a scam.
