On Februrary 21, 2022 I purchased a 2017 *** X5 SUV for $52,000 from H3238353731****3836H Pre-Owned H3135353433**3235**36Hstore located at *********************************** in ********, **. I had been driving the car when all of a sudden the engine began to run rough. The engine was not shifting into gear, as if the engine was misfiring. The car shook violently and the engine was skipping. Obviously, something was wrong with the car engine. The car has a 30-day warranty for any repairs since it was a used car. This happened within days of owning the car. I had the car towed to H3238353731****3836H in Pembroke where the dealer said it would be repaired since it is under warranty at no cost. Turns out, the car needed a new engine. So I was sold a car with a bad engine. The dealer said that they would repair the car with a new engine in two weeks, per the General Manager, ****. Every week I would call the dealership and they would say it&#**;s being worked on and the car would be ready in two weeks. That would be the standard response every time I called. Then the response from the mechanic would be "waiting for a part" or "still working on it." There was always an excuse for why the car was not repaired timely. It does not take 3 months to replace a car engine. It&#**;s inexcusable. If they don&#**;t have the mechanics to do the job, then they need to send it to a *** dealership to get the job done at their expense since the car is under warranty. In the interim, the dealership never offered a rental car while the *** was being repaired. Nor a compensation for the car payments made for a car that sat idle for 3 months. My monthly payment for the car is $860. For the inconvenience and time of this repair and the zero customer service assistance from the dealership - the dealer should have offered in "good faith" to make car payments. That would have been an incentive from them to get the job done in a timely fashion. As of today, the car is still at the dealership getting repaired.

This company is conducting predatory lending using fraudulent information. When I went in to purchase my vehicle, I had an offer from a company called ************ The business refused to give me a loan with ************ and without my permission, ran a credit check causing 3 marks on my credit score - they returned to me with an offer to finance through ally bank under the guise that this company would offer me the best APR rate for my credit score which at the time was in GOOD standing. The car dealer explained to me that the company works in partnership with ************* company and by agreeing to pay $250 every two weeks for my vehicle for the first 3 months, I would be able to come back to them and have my payments lowered as well as 90 points added to my credit score. He referred to this as a "stairstep" program and explained it is common practice. He guaranteed to me verbally that my payments would be lowered after 3 months. After paying for 3 months, I reached out to the financing office to adjust my payments and they denied having ever told me this information. I expressed to him that the only reason I agreed to purchase the car at that price was due to this information. The car was a 2016 purchased in 2019 and they charged well over blue book value as well as $4500 service contract that I did not ask for, in addition to $11000 in finance charges. I ended up having a **** for $35000 at $500 a month for a car only worth $20,000 offered at $109 a month. They refused to help me and the finance company, ALLY bank, does not offer car refinancing. This is what is known as predatory lending because they falsified information to coerce me into a deal they knew I could not afford to collect finance charges. I am aware of my rights and this company violated every one of them.

I received a text from ****** on 10/21/2021 stating ***** received all of the parts for my new engine, and was expected to be finished by the following Friday. I reached out again on 11/02/2021 asking for any updates. I received a response on 11/04/2021 stating that McGee took the vehicle back from ***** **** stating they were taking too long for the repairs to be completed and that their mechanics were working on my vehicle. I requested an update again on 11/12/2021, and was told that they are still working on the vehicle and his mechanic is "slow but thorough". I was under the impression an engine was being installed, so I was patient throughout this whole process. On 11/26/2021 I sent another text requesting an update on my vehicle, which is when ****** stated my car should be done by the following Tuesday. I received the text on 12/01/2021 that my car was completed and that I was able to pick it up that day. Upon arrival, I was told that my engine was NOT replaced, all that was replaced was the head gaskets, the hoses, and a new battery. McGee claims that ***** was lying about the engine the entire time, and that it was not necessary for the engine to be replaced. (McGee was the original dealership/mechanic to locate the issue with the engine). On 12/02/2021 I took my car to my trusted, private mechanic who confirmed that they didn't replace the engine, that there was still oil residue in the coolant reservoir, the hoses do not look brand new, and that the radiator is covered in oil (which should have been hosed down after replacing the oil) so I reached out to McGee the same day explaining what my mechanic had told me, and they stated that they were told by ***** *** that it was just the head gasket that needed to be changed along with the hoses and a radiator assy. He also stated that I would be able to bring my car in to be detailed the following Saturday at 12:30PM to remove all oil residue from the radiator, and that he would also look into replacing the

Yes the engine head gasket was replaced and the radiator and both hoses were replaced, hoses do not look shiny they are a dull color, new radiator was replaced new water pump was installed also we did all this so we could flush all the old coolant from the engine so the job would be done correct, which in our eyes it was done. Yes it took a long time to complete because of ***** *** having it for a few months and telling us parts were back ordered with no release date. Only when we got fustrated with ***** we brought it back to our shop then we discovered it does not need an engine.

McGee has since resolved this issue and provided me with a new trade in and has repurchased the Kia ******* from me in exchange for a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.   There is no further response required.

and asked if there was any update on upgrading my rental from a sudan to an SUV, and also to see if there was an update on my vehicle. I was told again that there were still parts that were on order, but that the upgrade for the rental was available on 09/24/2021. I received a text on 10/04/2021 from Marlon stating that the bulk parts for my new engine were received, and that Quirk was just waiting for the sensors to be delivered but that by that Wednesday (10/06/2021) Quirk would let them know when my engine was set to be completed. I reached out on 10/12/2021 asking for updates, and I was told that the oil valves would be at Quirk on 10/15/2021, also that the reason the engine was taking so long to be replaced, was because they had to custom make an engine for my vehicle due to no engines available to replace my current engine that was cracked. I made McGee aware that I felt as though this car was not going to be reliable and there was something they were not telling me regarding the true condition of this vehicle, but they reassured me that waiting for the vehicle was the best (and only) option I had at the time. I reached out AGAIN on 10/19/2021 to see if there were any updates, and was told by Marlon that he called Quirk the day prior and they were STILL waiting for the sensors to be delivered. I advised him that I would be reaching out to the General Manager at McGee to discuss voiding this contract for they were not being honest with me and I felt as though they had sold me a lemon of a vehicle. I received a call from McGee stating I have to wait for the repairs of this vehicle before we can discuss trading it for a new vehicle from their lot, but at this point I wanted nothing to do with their business. I was again reassured by Marlon that it would be best to wait for this vehicle for it would be a brand new engine and the car would be in better condition once completed. I received a text from Marlon on 10/21/2021 stating Quirk received all of the parts
