    On June 23, 2023 I brought my Mercedes into Berkshire Performance, where John R the owner read a report that ******** ** *********** had provided. Johns behavior became questionable as he told me there was nothing wrong with the left brake line, then said there was a leak and they had to be replaced. He installed costly items, such as brakes and rotors, while disregarding the more important repairs (such as safety sensors and signals on mirrors). He did the expensive work first! I returned to get the car when the pickup date came, John wasn’t there. Willie, an employee, said the car was ready except for a control sensor. I was told that John was going to order it and set up an appt. when it came in. I then in good faith paid the bill of $2,175.56 and was told John would email me a receipt. I never received the receipt. I called John 3 times only to be sent to his voicemail. Finally, I drove the 26 miles to the garage and John was full of excuses for the 3 weeks of put-offs. I then was able to get John to set an appointment… I showed up only to be told other cars needed work finished from the day prior and to give him 1hr to finish. Instead of leaving I sat across the street, 5hrs later John calls me over and Willie takes the car into the garage. After ½ hour John shows me a worn right tire and states (Now-weeks, days, and hours later) he can’t and won’t put the part for the sensors in, because he says they won’t work even if I put a new tire on. Then John says my front end is bad (after they worked in that area before) and also tries to tell me I must of hit something, which I didn’t. John brought me his phone, he had my friend begin telling me about the undercarriage of my car. That was it, I handed the phone back to John. This whole bad experience told me I should never have let John do the work and charge me $2,200. John did not communicate with me when he knew his intention was to delay work. My biggest mistake was buying into John’s story!
