    We had plumbing work completed as part of a larger renovation project in 2023. We had recently converted to mini-splits for heating, but **** strongly advised us to keep the existing oil boiler as a backup. He advised this would require some additional pipe relocation that was not in the original contract, and it would need a change order. We agreed to relocate the additional pipes, so **** drained the boiler and completed the work. When **** came back to refill the heating pipes, he notified me there was a significant crack in the boiler, and that it was leaking all over the floor. I was left to clean up the water on my own.The boiler had been tuned up and inspected one month prior and was in working condition. The boiler was never used during renovations, all I know is that the boiler passed inspection and safety testing 1 month before renovating, but was broken after the pipe relocation work had taken place.Nonetheless, I requested a copy of the invoice by text message in Sept 2023 and Jan 2024, but to date I have not received a written change order, nor an invoice with the cost. Given that the boiler sustained damage and cannot be used, the additional pipe relocation has also become unnecessary unless the boiler is fully replaced. The business has not responded to requests for the invoice, nor follow up emails to resolve the dispute over damaged boiler. My plumbing permit is basically being held hostage, as the business will not talk to me, and I cannot close it on my own.I am proposing two options to resolve this dispute. Given that the boiler failed during the timeline when plumbing work was being completed, one option is to make whole the loss by replacing and restoring the boiler to its previous working condition, at no additional expense. The second option is that we do not pursue a replacement of the damaged boiler, in exchange for a cancellation of the now unnecessary change order and invoice, and for the plumbing permit to be closed with the city.

    Refused to finish job after taking a job they knew was far from area. Only sent a very young man a few days. I spent more than double the original quote and problem still not fixed. I'm a disabled single mother living homeless sheltered until this problem is fixed.
