Went on June 4 for a breakfast buffet which was advertised on their website. It was the first meet up with a new friend. Got there and no buffet. Order eggs ******** and was told they did not have it. Order eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Potatoes were cold and old, one egg tasted bitter and couldn't eat, bacon was as burnt as a piece of paper, black and just burnt...absolutely not edible. Friend did not get his bacon, ordered coffee and asked for cream twice but never received it, order 2 mimosas and they came in mini champagne glasses and charged $12 each. The only edible thing was a piece of thick white toast (without any butter) and I had ordered wheat toast. I felt like I was in a child's play kitchen where no one knew what they were doing.When I got home, I realized they had put a 20% tip on the bill. We had reluctantly left a 18% tip (an automatic tip for 2 people???). We were just meeting for the first time and it was so very uncomfortable to try to make the best of this first meeting.I spoke to ******** the next day (who claims he is the manager), explained all this to him and he said he was there and they had a party coming and they were training new people, and yes, they have a buffet every sunday but ooops, sorry not on the 4th. He offered for me to come to a buffet but I live a bit away from Revere and did not want to take the chance of another disapointment. He said to text him with a copy of the receipt and he would accommodate in some way. Never got a reply and so I emailed him and again, never got a reply. Called one last time to resolve with no answer, left message but no call back. Worst meal I've ever had and absolutely nothing good to say about the service, appearance, etc. $61 for breakfast and was not able to eat it.I lived in Revere for 50+ years and even had my child's graduation party there years ago. What a sad excuse for a restaurant and such a lovely location. Step it up ********.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
