Refund and Exchange Policy

The business states
"Exchanges & Returns:  Your purchase may be exchanged or refunded within 7 days with the original sales receipt or store credit is permitted within 30 days of the purchase with the original receipt. The item(s) must be unused, unworn, in its original condition, in the original packaging and /or gift box, with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact. Sale items, special orders, completed layaways and/or custom work or pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.

Special orders: All special orders require a non-refundable 20% deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, repair or gift ordered or altered at the customers request. No return, refund or exchange on special orders.

Repairs & Custom Design: Custom jewelry involves metals, gems labor furnished by Yarmouth Jewelers at the request of the customer. All custom jewelry orders or repairs are non-refundable. Payment upon completion will denote customers’ full satisfaction. Watch repairs will carry a 90 day warranty. Rust and/or abuse will void this warranty. Yarmouth Jewelers is not responsible for items left over 60 days.

Layaways: Minimum deposit of 20% is required. Items can be placed on layaway for a maximum of 120 days. Completed layaways are not returnable or refundable. A refund on merchandise will be given within 30 days of deposit date.. Refunds after 30 days will be issued a store credit and incur a 20% restocking fee.

Colored Gemstone Disclosure: Purchasers of colored gemstones should be aware that natural gemstones have “probably” been subjected to a stable and undetectable enhancement process. The gem and jewelry trade base prevailing market values on the universally practiced and accepted processes.

Appraisals & Certificate of Sale: Yarmouth Jewelers will gladly accompany each sale with a free formal Certificate of Sale with each purchase upon customers’ request. This formality should suffice for insurance purposes."
