If I could give this dealership ZERO stars I would. They behaved so slimy. I received a personalized letter (see attached) stating that I would receive over $29000 if I traded in my RDX. The letter had details specific to me and my car. They can do this easily because I bought the vehicle there and have had most of my servicing done there. When I came in on the specified day I was told right off the bat that it probably would be far less since it really meant IF my car was the highest model and the highest trim level then I might receive that amount. I argued that because the letter states Just For You. With this invitation, you will receive an Acura Loyalty Offer which will save you up to $1,000* on the select new Acura of your choice, An Above Market Trade Allowance For Your 2019 Acura RDX $29,815The problem I have with this is that it very specifically says your 2019 Acura RDX. Which means they know EXACTLY what car I have. And NO WHERE in the fine print does it say anything about the trade in amount being different because of trim level or model. I understand the mileage and condition of the vehicle would be considered. However, I have a real problem with the way they **** me in only to say - Well, we dont really mean what it says. I THINK THIS IS BAIT AND SWITCH.Grieco Acura Response

General Manager, ********************* spoke with the customer earlier in the week after her post on Google. He explained that the phrasing by the salesperson was not well explained. She was trading toward a new vehicle that does not exist in the color combination she desired.Review from Craig D

Checked my car value on KBB to see what I could sell it for and was given an offer from KBB which was very reasonable. Received an email from the Grieco Acura representative saying they are in desperate need for my vehicle and that they wanted to buy it for the amount KBB quoted. I did not reach out to Grieco of my interest and then after the quote expired from KBB I received an email from Grieco Acura on Sunday November 13 again saying they are in desperate need for my vehicle and would pay the amount originally quoted "sight unseen" and it could be even higher upon visual inspection of the vehicle. My wife and I drove more than an hour to the dealership only to have a bait and switch approach to the cost of my trade. They came in $890 less than what was quoted and when I explained that the Grieco Acura representative said in her email that the price was "sight unseen" or could be higher they said that was not the case. After discussing with the sales rep he then came back with another offer that was a bit more reasonable but not what we were quoted. The manager then came over to discuss and my wife and I explained that we understand they made a mistake in how the representative worded the email but that Grieco Acura should honor it. The manager refused to listen to that and said the offer stands as "x" which was the $890 less offer. I replied back what about this "updated offer" that was sitting in front of us and he said "no that offer is not good". Needless to say my wife and I did not trade our vehicle in with this dealership as they are not honest or trust worthy. We ended up trading in for exactly what this dealership offered to us after the visual review of the vehicle but I did not want to give them the satisfaction of making money on the vehicle at auction. This dealership is the reason why so many car dealers get a bad rap and thought of as being people you cannot trust. We will never attempt to do business with the Grieco Auto Group.Grieco Acura Response

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. We apologize that the ***** Blue Book Instant cash offer you submitted was not honored since the vehicle did not match the condition you submitted in the tool.Review from Eric B

Outright lied to about condition of vehicle. It was purchased as a high mileage vehicle with no warranty, so I was specific in my line of questioning of what would be serviced, what would cause them to wholesale it versus selling it, etc. I was presented with a vehicle I was assured had no major defects. Upon inspection, it started to unravel. I can type for days, but here's the experience that should make everyone weary: I brought my car back after the inspection (some time had passed, but only roughly 75 miles were put on the car as I was holding it for my son while he was out of state). I brought it back with two specific asks that were easily visible when undergoing inspection:1) Sway bar / sway bar links: needed replacement. Assumed that was what was causing a grinding/vibrating in the front end only noticeable when backing up and cutting (a move I did not think to perform when purchasing the vehicle). They noted there was visible damage (Used sales manager argues they didn't see anything). Yet on the slip, they indicated they were not able to replicate the vibrating problem. At that moment I knew I was screwed. First time I've EVER had a buying experience at any level where I knew I was being lied to.I requested that they bring a technician with me. Took two second, he said yeah, it's there. So they revised the wording and still couldn't bring themselves to be honest (minor vibrating was what they wrote).2) During inspection, a leak of unknown origin around the transmission was detected. Again, this was presented to Acura as in the follow up appt noted as "visible" yet they still claim when they initially had the vehicle they had no idea of this. So it gets even better: they ask for extra time to run a transmission check, I ***** it as I want my son to have a working, safe vehicle. I go to pick it up, I'm told "It's best if you take it to the manufacturer; we're not experts with these vehicles (it's an '09 ********** So it's pretty clear they never ran the diagnostic, but once again refused to acknowledge what they sold.So I did. I took it to a local ******** dealer. Here's what they easily uncovered:REAR SUBFRAME ROTTED REAR SPRINGS ROTTED REAR BRAKELINES ROTTED ENGINE / TRANSMISSION MOUNTS WORN TRANS PAN ROTTED OIL LEAK FROM BEHIND CYLINDER HEAD and a litany of smaller issues that I kinda expected with an older vehicle, and was prepared to fix as needed. Which option is a better look for you Acura: That your technicians can't spot major issues with a vehicle, or that they can, and you just refuse to relay those issues to your customers and sell a car with full knowledge that there are some major issues.Glad to share supporting documentation. I will exhaust every legal option I have; lemon law policies do not apply but there are a litany of other consumer protection avenues to take.My biggest mistake: having a wonderful experience with Grieco ****** and trusting I'd be taken care of the same way here. Should be careful what you put your name on, as I'll move regular maintenance on my wife's vehicle away from Grieco ****** and will only allow what's covered under the extended warranty on my vehicle to be done and take whatever business I can elsewhere.
