First, they lied to me in order to justify a lower price for my trade in. I didn't find out about the lie until the deal was done. When I called them on it they did nothing. It was like talking to a brick wall. They knew I was leaving the lot as an unhappy customer Using the customer feedback form, I again expressed my concern about being lied to by a Herb Chambers employee. I got a call back and was devastated to learn that management approves employees lying to customers as part of the negotiation process as that's how they cover their overhead and "keep the lights on." If you are an elderly lady looking for a new car and Herb Chambers is your only option, please be sure to take someone with you to protect you from being lied to during the negotiation process.

Recently had my car towed there because it was the closest dealership and the transmission went on it. Luckily there was a recall on it. Unfortunately they never called me back to give me updates the whole time. Had to get the manager involved. Finally two weeks later I was offered a loaner vehicle but basically said my car would be ready in a day and I shouldn't need it so I didn't take the vehicle. Went to pick the car up and the key wasn't unlocking the car. Drove it home and then was unable to start it. Had to get it towed back there because I was told it was probably a recall on the push start but then they told me the whole shifter assembly needed to be replaced and that wasn't covered. So I trusted them to fix my car for a faulty transmission on a 2017 honda hrv and somehow became responsible for something else that broke while they were repairing it. Will never bring my vehicle there again. Terrible customer service, noone calls you back or provides updates. Finally three weeks later getting my car back. DO NOT GO THERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED!Review from THOMAS B

They will LIE to you and WASTE YOUR TIME.I had called and asked if they were charging more than MSRP for cars and given the current supply chain issues an answer of yes would not have surprised me.However, they told me no. When I got to the dealership, I saw the sticker and it was $5000!!!! over MSRP. (dealer addendum added). I asked and they said that's the added amount over MSRP because of supply chain problems.This is just so disrespectful. They lied. They wasted my time (30 miles each way to drive plus dealership time). There was a reason I had called. They lied. All I ask is for some honesty and they failed at that. I told the salesman (he wasn't the one I spoke to on the phone) that the way they business handled this was no way to establish or build trust and left. I plan to buy another Honda, but it will not be at Herb Chambers.Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk Response
