I am an acupuncturist with a patient enrolled with the Allways health partners. A claim (date of service 1/12/2022) has been denied in I think June 2022, with the explanation that acupuncture was no longer a covered service for her, although she had been told it was. I called Allways around that same time and given a reference #CT007021341) as they needed to check further as to the reason, and for me to call back in 2-3 weeks for an answer. Since that time Ive called (using phone number ************) approximately every month, and each time Ive been told that its been passed on to the supervisor and to check back in in 2-3 weeks. The last time I called on Dec 13, 2022 they said again that it was being passed on to the supervisor, but still no response was given to me. We have 360 days for a claim to be submitted, and at this point, if its not resolved in Jan 2023, itll be void. Im pretty frustrated!Business response

AllWays Health Partners has reviewed your complaint that was forwarded from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) on December 19, 2021, related to issues encountered with the processing of a claim for acupuncture services rendered to a patient between January 12, 2022, and April 13, 2022.
A Supervisor in AllWays Health Partners claims department has reviewed the claim in question included in CT007021341 referenced in your complaint. Upon review it was determined that this claim adjudicated incorrectly due to a processing error. As a result, the claim in question has been reprocessed to pay accordingly.Customer response
