I had rain/wind damage to home in January 2024. We contacted 24Restore to tarp roof area leaking. Roofer showed up, tarped an area approx 3'x5' and cover a 12"x12" attic fan (exterior). I was charged $914.72 *4 HOURS for roofer, but he was at my home under 1 hour (When questioned was told I had to pay his travel time, 2nd time they said I had to pay for his time to write up work). *Charged for a $220.04 for 2nd worker - there wasn't a 2nd worker, charged for $95.72 for 300 sqft tarp, they used no more than 20 sq ft then took tarp. Additional charge $107.61 for high roof (1957 cape, 2nd floor is attic not high), and charged for extra sleep roof (?) $243.66 - also furring strip $3.57. I questioned and they said "Insurance is paying does it matter?" They removed charge for 2nd worker, and tarp charge, but the 4 hours of work is fraud and roof height charges are not necessary. I will pay for 1 hr work, and furring strip and 20 sq ft of tarp - but the rest is not accurate. Invoices attached. I called the **************** in ** to speak to someone at that level, I insisted I hear back from the ************ not ** Office. They took message, moments later the ** RESTORE CALL ME BACK asking why did I call the ***************** I am so fed-up. I have already recommended to friends, family and coworkers to stay away from this company.Business response

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and expect a refund to these charges. Once completed, it will satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********, the case will be closed and resolved.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
Vendor said I would hear back and resolve in 10 days. I have not had any correspondence at all. This vendor heavily padded an invoice with false charges and so far no communication no compensation!!!!!!!!!! They are permitted to rip off more consumers.
