My car broke down on the side of the highway. I was needing a tow. I called Hampshire towing company. I was informed that you needed to go on to their website and put in all of your information to get a quote. I did just that. I was then told that they would take 2 hours. I then informed them that it would take too long and no longer needed the tow. The company then charged me the whole amount anyway even though they never provided any servicesBusiness response

To whom it may concern,
Our dispatch received a request for a tow from ********* ****** on February 10, 2023, at 1:08 PM. Per our standard policy, payment is required at the time of placing the request which ********* ****** completed. We dispatched a tow truck at 1:13 PM. However, 20 minutes later, at 1:28 PM, ********* ****** called back to cancel the tow. During this time, our dispatch staff, tow truck, driver, and fuel were all being utilized to ensure the satisfaction and completion of this request taking them away from assisting other calls. We received a letter dated 5/22/23 and mailed 5/23/23 from ********* ****** requesting a full refund. We responded on 5/30/23 with the attached letter which also included a $200 rebate check. The amount of $200 was determined by considering ********* ******** concern and also the resources expended and the time commitment made by our driver and tow truck. Please see the attached letter we mailed to ********* ****** attempting to resolve the matter in a fair manner. We hope this information is helpful in resolving this matter.
