Jesse D************** JDB came to see property and give an estimate for an Illusions 4-post Pergola for my climbing roses that I had on the deck when he came.Jesse indicated that they had a pergola department specifically trained for installations. Theestinate came 5/30/23 for $2945.00, I paid the down payment (1/2) on 5/30/23 upon receiving the estimate-. The install began 7/6/23. Jesse was not in town for the install. They did not finish. It rained in the dug holes for two of the days and they came back to finish on 7/11/23. I made the final payment 7/19/23. When I went to plant the roses, I was hitting all cement. I emailed Jesse to ask why did they not use the forms for the posts so that I would still be able to plant. He indicated that they did it to code and there was nothing that he could do. I went back and forth with him through email about how a rose pergola should be installed so that flowers can be planted. I reminded him that he told me that his department was trained for this purpose. When I pushed the issue, he indicated that he would come and see it when he could. Jesse said he would come when they had a job in Westfield. I called and spoke with Colin T**** on 5/5/23. He said he understood and would speak to Jesse to get a quick resolution. He said he would call by the end of the day. I didn't hear back from him. I was transferred to the owner on Thursday (5/7/23) but had to leave a message. I am getting the runaround and have 600 dollars worth of roses on the deck baking in the summer heat. I would like to have the pergola installed with footings and forms so that the cement won't spread and prevent me from planting on it.Business response

We apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you, as keeping our customers satisfied is our top priority. We went out to the customers home yesterday and we took care of the complaint. When we left the customer was happy. We are thankful that the customer worked with us, and we were able to make this right.Customer response
