On 10.17.2021 I went to Rockys Ace Hardware in East Longmeadow MA. I attempted to purchase 12-3 electrical wire for the marked price of 129.99. Upon ringing out I was charged more than 350.00. I asked the sales rep to check why and he stated that was the computer price. I explained the sticker price was 129.99 he said the item must have been in the wrong spot. I explained that their price was more way more expensive than the other local stores. The rep apologized and I went to the other store. Which was sold out. I returned to Rockys and asked for help to purchase the 12-3 wire. I was brought to the same location where I had picked up the first roll. I removed the bar code/tag and returned to the register. I handed the barcode and take to the rep and he said the tag must not have been changed yet and called a manager to preform a price adjustment. The manager said she would not honor the price even after being handed the barcode and price tag from her shelf.Business response

Ace Hardware (Rocky's) Advertised in their May and June Flyers a Toro 22 150cc #******* Lawn Mower for $339.00. It is self Propelled with a Deck Washout Port. I received a Rain Ticket 5/23/21. It was Good until 8/31/21. I kept checking. They blamed the Company, the Warehouse, Covid. A Backorder and When I asked that they check other stores, No one had one. This is False Advertising.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2021/09/24) */ Good Afternoon, Rocky's would like to apologize for any miss communication between this consumer and the store. After doing a bit or research on this mower it was cancelled by Toro and they are no longer manufacturing this model and this is why we were unable to get more product in stock. Toro's replacement for this mower is ******* which at this time is not available from Toro yet. We do have a limited selection of self propelled mowers at this point price and we will honor the $339.00. If the consumer would like to reach out to my email address provided I can give them the available selection and the store location that they are available in. Sincerely Kim Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2021/09/29) */ Rockys, has reached out to customer on this matter. There is an upgrade available that we would give customer at no additonal cost to consumer. $100 difference. She said no. Offered her a loaner until we can get product. she said no. She will wait until Spring season for new line up and we will offer her a $50 GC for her inconvenience.She has agreed. We can also refund her for what she has paid for.
