Purchased a 2010 audi a4, was shown carfax on computer screen and assures there were no issues to the vehicle. Car was purchased on 9/2/23. On 10/15/23 the entire clutch and flywheel went while my 16 yr old son was driving the vehicle. We have had the car for one month with very limited driving, this should not have happened. The car does not have a warranty, as it's over 125k miles. I respectfully reached out to the dealership via phone and email to see if there was anything they could do and they have neglected to respond.

      Hi ****,

I'm sorry you are having issues with your vehicle. You bought it month and a half ago on 09/02/23. By ************* law vehicle was sold with no warranty due to mileage being over 125k miles. **** you came to test drive the car I remember you saying that your son has never driven manual and you will test drive it for him and that you have to remember how to do it yourself as its been some time since you drove manual transmission. We would never sell any vehicle that has issues , you test drove it and you saw for yourself that there was nothing wrong with the clutch. It is very easy to burn out the clutch if you don't know how to operate manual transmission. You had vehicle for almost 2 months now and first time you have reached out to us was yesterday 10/17/23. If the clutch had issues when you bought it like you say then why would you not reach out to me the same or the next day? Jus because I feel bad about your issue I could offer you to bring it in and ************ will fix it for a lot cheaper then what you got quoted from someone else but that is the best we can do for you!

      Regards

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

This is the sane response the dealership provided me. When I told them to let me know when they would provide a tow to their location and fix the issue at hand they told me "we are going in circles....have your lawyer contact us" so no, this is not resolved. Dealership, specifically Gints Bombans is refusing to offer anything but me to bring the vehicle to his shop 35 miles away and pay out of pocket for issues that existed prior to us purchasing.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

We went to look at vehicles on the weekend of September 17th and we chose to purchase a 2013 Range Rover. The day that we test drove it, the owner needed to place a battery pack on the vehicle. It had been sitting for some time and he said that he needs to jump the battery in order for us to test drive it. Once we completed the paperwork on the vehicle, the owner stated that he would make sure the battery was all set before we came back to pick up the vehicle, that Monday the 19th. When we got there on Monday, he said that everything was in working order and the vehicle was good to take home. We did confirm that the battery was good and no need for concern. When we got home that day, I saw that the tires needed air. I went to put air in the tire and the valve stem snapped off and we had a flat tire. Not only did we have to find a local Land Rover dealer to help us, but we also tried to get help from the dealership, and they said it was on us to resolve. We didn't get any option of bringing it back for help. It was at the dealership for over a week and once they had it, there were multiple safety issues. (Attached)The biggest being that the Range Rover was outstanding for a recall issue to be fixed, which by law, should have never been sold till it was corrected. We spent over $3,000.00 for these items to be fixed before I would let my wife drive it with my kids in it. Then at this point I had been going back and forth with the business to find out why the vehicle still had not been registered. It has taken 34 days for them to register the car, which was on October 12, 2022 and as of today, we still have not received the registration. That was after a text last week that the vehicle was registered. This is with ongoing emails, text messages and phones calls, with no help. I have reached back out to the owners, asking for help and to be reimbursed for the work that needed to be done at the Land Rover dealership and they said they will not help us.
